우리나라 國會圖書館의 現況分析과 奉仕擴大에 關한 硏究

Abstract

國家 發展의 持續을 위해선 國家의 知的 情報源인 國書館의 役割은 大端히 重要한 것이며 圖書館의 窮極約 目的은 廣範圍하고 效果 的인 圖書館 奉仕이다. 우리나라 圖書館 發展을 위해 直接·間接으로 影響力이 있고, 또한 어떤 意味에서는 代表的 圖書館인 國會圖書館의 奉仕 活動 現況과 間題点을 分析 檢討하여, 國會圖書館 奉仕 活動의 擴大 方案을 摸索하고 우리나라 圖書館의 現實을 直示하여, 내일의 里程標를 마련하고자 한다. 本 硏究의 內容은, 第Ⅰ章에서 硏究의 目的과 必要性 및 範圍와 方法을 提示했고, 第2章에는 國會圖書館의 沿革, 槪念, 機能 및 役割 그리고 特性에 대해 言及했다. 第3章에서는 國會圖書館의 職員, 資料, 豫算, 施設 및 組織의 現況을 分析하였고,第4章은 資料의 收集, 整理, 管理 面을 다루었다. 第5章에는 國會圖書館 奉仕에 관한 考察로써 國會圖書館 奉仕의 意義, 方法과 種類 및 奉仕 活動에 관한, 즉 資料의 利用 狀況을 統計 調査했다. 結論으로 國會圖書館의 特殊圖書館的, 公共圖書館的, 國家圖書館的인 役割을 充分히 다 遂行하기 위하여 國會圖書館의 (1)專門的 職員의 確保와 訓練 (2)資料의 組織과 管理 (3)豫算과 施設 (4)圖書館 奉仕 活動 (5)圖書館 業務 面에서의 擴大와 强化를 提言했으며 또한 이를 위한 國家의 政策的인 뒷받침을 提議했다.;The role of a library as an intellectual information source. is no doubt very important and necessary. The ultimate purpose of any library is far-reaching and effective service to its clients. In the first chapter, this paper examines the present conditions and the problems of National Assembly Library which is representative one and therefore may exercise a great effect on the development of other libraries in the country. Chapter two deals with short history characteristic function, and the role of National Assembly Library. In Chapter three, the present condition of materials, budget, facilities and organization of N. A. L. is analyzed. Chapter four is about collection, processing and the management of the library. The service of the library is analyzed in the last chapter. kind of services, methods, and uses are described in statistics. The writer suggests and recommends the extention and reinforcement in the following point for the N. A. L. to accomplish its role and the responsibility not only as a national library but a special and public library as well. The points are： 1) the guarantee and maintenance of the staff and their training and recruitment, 2) collection and organization of the library materials, 3) funds and facilities, 4) user service, and 5) library business.
