開化期 織物에 關한 考察

Abstract

開化란 文物이 깨이는 것을 말하는 것으로, 우리나라는 開港 以後 新文物과 접하게 되면서 開化의 물결은 社會全般에 걸쳐 影響을 미치게 되었고, 특히 우리의 衣服에도 지대한 影響을 주어 固有의 우리 衣服이 西洋化 해가고 더불어 그 衣料 또한 달라지게 되는 계기를 마련하였다. 따라서 開化期라 불리는 時期는 우리 文物의 變遷上으로 볼 때 過渡 期的 期間이 라 할 수 있다. 本 論文은 開化期에 使用되었던 織物의 種類와 用度에 鬪해 살펴봄으로써, 開化期 服節의 한 斷面을 파악하고 잊혀져 가는 當時의 우리 織物을 이해하는 데에 도움이 되고자 하는데 目的이 있다. 開化期 宮中과 上流層에서 使用되던 織物은 各 種 文獻에 의한바 絹, 綿, 麻織物이 쓰였는데, 이들은 다시 色 紋樣·處理方法에 따라 달라지고 用途도 龍袍에서 內拱에 이르기까지 두루 利用되었음을 볼 수 있다. 또한 이때에 通用되딘 織物을 生産과 輸入·販賣로 나누어 살펴 본 바 旣存의 織物은 退步하고 機機生産이나 輸入된 새로운 材料로 만들어진 織物로 대체되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 그것은 市場에서 販賣되었던 織物을 通해서도 알 수 있는데, 이들 織物들은 새로운 衣生活의 要求에 應할 수 있었을 뿐 아니라 衣服 改良에도 一任을 했으리라 생각된다. 開化期 遺物로는 溫陽民俗博物館과 梨大 家庭大 所藏의 織物이 있어, 前述한 織物의 구체적인 實例를 제시하였다.;"Gaewha" is refered to as the breaking of a civilization. In the our country, after opening of the parts, the waves of "Gaewha" had great effect on our general society, especially on our clothing Because of these influences, our traditional clothing was westernized and the clothing materials also were changed, what we call the "transitional period". But research on this field has been scarce. The object of this paper is, through observing the fabrics, to understand a small part of the period of "Gaewha" and by adjusting our fabrics, to find out about them. According to many documents, fabrics used by the high-class and the Court in civilized period were silk, cotton and linen. According to color, pattern, treatment, and place of production, their names are different and we can see that they are widely used to make clothes "Yongpo" and "Naegong"
