지주會豕의 構造分析

Abstract

本 論文에서는, 文學 作品의 硏究는 形式과 內容, 두 영역의 相互作用에서 비롯된 作品 전체의 美的 체계와 意味를 밝혀내는데 意義가 있다고 본다. 그러므로 形式과 內容을 統合하는 硏究方法을 作品에 適用시켜서, 보다 직관적이고 구체적으로 作品을 分析하여 그 作品의 독특한 예술적 가치를 밝혀내므로써, 그 作品에 대한 새로운 評價를 함과 동시에, 小說 分析 方法論의 作品에의 적용 양상도 밝히었다. Ⅱ章에서 이 두 영역을 통합한 硏究方法으로, 우리나라에서는 거의 소개된 바 없는 '루드로프(H. Ruthrof)理論'의 기본틀을 소개하였다. 그러나 이 이론의 기본들은 이론상으로 기대되어지는 것으로서, 作品예 적용시켰을 때 모두 충족되어지지는 않는다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 作品 分析에 알맞는 체계로 변형시켜서 다시 체계화시켰다. Ⅲ章에서는 形式(제시하는 과정)의 영역의 비중이 매우 크게 나타난다고 할 수 있는 李 箱의 「지주회시」를 연구 예상 작품으로 하여 分析의 체계를 적응, 분석하였다. 이 作業을 통하여 「지주회시」의 표층구조, 인물, 시간, 공간, 행위, 분위기, 이념, 전체적인 미학적-이념적 의미 등의 각 양상을 고찰하였다. 그리고 이 연구의 과정에서 각 양상 內에서의 내용(실제 세계 )과 형식 (제시하는 과정)의 구분 및 상호작용이 고찰되었다. 그리하여 '실제 세계'에서는 '금전만능의 퇴폐상' 내지 '그에 따른 인간성의 소멸'이라는 이념이 추론되었지만, '제시하는 과정'에서는 '人生의 순환성이라는 이념이 추론되기에 이르렀다. 이것은 마지막 변형적 단계에서 兩儀性 및 복잡 미묘하고 궤변적인 (sophisticatied), 現代人의 해결되지 않은 퇴폐적인 人生에 대한 이야기임이 추론되게 되었다. Ⅳ章에서는 「지주회시」의 分析을 기반으로 하여 '제시하는 과정의 비중이 다른 他 作品의 경우 및 돌레절(L.Dolezel)의 'S-텍스트 S￣-텍스트'의 이론을 대조하므로써 小說 作品 전반에서의 '실제세계'와 '제시하는 과정'의 비중 및 상호 작용 양상도 논의하였다. 以上의 논의를 거쳐서 내용의 영역과 형식의 영역을 통합하여 문학 작품을 연구하는 연구 자세의 중요성을 부각시키고, 그것에 따라 「지주회시」를 새롭게 評價하여 그 作品의 예술적 가치를 밝히었다.;It is of great importance to verify the total aesthetic system and the meaning of a literary work derivated from the dynamic interaction of two visions: form and content. In this thesis, I made an attempt at a new methodology of studying literary works synthesizing these two visions. This methodology makes it possible to approach a literary work more objectively and concretely than the already established methodologies which are depending on one vision exclusively. It is also possible to reveal the unique aesthetic value of a work and to evaluate one newly by this methodology. Simultaneously, I made it clear how a methodology is to be applied to each work. In Chapter Ⅱ, I introduced basic frame of the theory of H. Ruthrof, one of the synthesizing methodologies, which has been hardly known to the general public. When applied to a particular literary work, however, this basic frame of the theory is not fully satisfied as expected theoretically. Therefore, I transformed and re-systemized the theory appropriately to the work. Cheejooheosi, written by Lee, Sang, was adopted on account of its emphasis on the vision of the presentational process. In Chapter Ⅲ, I made an actual attempt at analyzing Cheejooheosi by applying the analytical system established in Chapter Ⅱ. The subjects of investigation among the various aspects of the work are as follows: Surface Structure, Personae Time, Space, Acts, Atmospheric Aspects, Work Ideology, and the Overall Aesthetic-Ideological Meaning. In this process of analysis, the division and the interaction of 'the presented world' and 'the presentational process' were also investigated, which resulted in two conclusions. One is that 'the presented world' of the work dealt with the decadent trend seeing everything in terms of money and the ensuing consequence, the nullification of the human nature. But it is also inferred that the author tried to manifest the repetitiousness and the circular movement of life through 'the presentational process.' Finally, it is acertained that Cheejooheosi is a story about the present corrupted life which has double meaning complex, subtle and sophisticated, and which is never to reach a satisfactory solution. In Chapter Ⅳ, with the basis of the analysis of Cheejooheosi in Chapter Ⅲ, the aspect of the interaction of 'the presented world' and 7the presentational process' in novel general was investigated by comparison of Cheejooheosi and the other literary works which have different emphasis of 'the presentational process.' The importance of this synthesizing methodology of studying literary works can not be overemphasized. I tried to reveal the aesthetic value of Cheejooheosi and evaluate it anew by this methodology in this thesis.
