夢遊桃源圖 跋文 書藝 硏究

Abstract

The contents of this study is to analyze the calligraphy of envoy and praises of Mongyoodowondo(Painting of "A Dream Journey to the Peach Blossom Land") which is the work of the first term of Chosun era and to study the character of this work in the calligraphic side and the meaning of Cho Mengfu’s calligraphic style in the calligraphy of Chosun era. Mongyoodowondo is on the basis of the contents of dream that the prince Anpyoung who is the third son of Sejong the great enjoyed at Peach Blossom Land in the dream. Painter An kyeon drew the drawing. And, beside it, the envoy of prince Anpyoung and the praises of 21 literary men were being written. In these writings, mostly, the influence of Chao Meng-fu's Calligraphic Style emerges. The Chao Meng-gu’s Calligraphic Style introduced at the end of Goryeo is the refined and beautiful calligraphy of aristocratic atmosphere. The introduction of Chao Meng-fu's Calligraphic Style is by the scholars of the teachings of Chu-tzu and metaphysics in Mankwon Dang at the end of Goryeo. Then, as they founded "Chosun", Chao Meng-fu's Calligraphic Style became the representative calligraphy at the beginning of the foundation of Chosun era. But, Chao Meng-fu’s Calligraphic Style could become the representative calligraphy of Chosun, as itself was the calligraphy which is suitable for the Confucianism idea. What Chao Meng-fu who was the scholar of metaphysics tried to accomplish was reactionism, and the goal in his calligraphy was to return to the calligraphic style of Wang His-chih. After all, he created the New Calligraphy by synthesizing the great past as the traditional Confucianism goal, through the reexamination of the ancient calligraphy. It is the Chao Meng-fu's Calligrahpic style. Because of this reason, Caho Meng-fu's Calligraphic Style got to be highlighted as the calligraphy which has the idea which is most suitable for the Confucianism nation at the first term of Chosun era. And, the envoy and praise of Mongyoodowondo(Painting of "A dream Journey to the Peach Blossom Land") is the product to reflect this era.;本 論文은 朝鮮時代 前期의 作品인 '夢遊挑源圖'卷의 跋文과 贊詩의 書藝를 分析하고, 書藝的인 側面에서의 이 作品의 性格과, 朝鮮時代 書藝에 있어서 强한 影響力을 미치는 松雪體가 그 時代 사람들에게 준 意味가 무엇인지를 考察해 보는 것을 內容으로 한다. 夢遊挑源圖는 朝鮮時代 최대의 전성기인 世宗代에 만들어진 代表的인 作品으로, 꿈속에서 桃園에 들어가서 즐겼다는, 安平大君의 꿈의 內容을 바탕으로 하고 있다. 그림은 當代 최고의 畵家 安堅이 그렸으며, 그 옆에는 安平大君의 跋文을 위시하여, 21人의 文士들의 贊詩가 쓰여져 있다. 當時의 名筆들이 筆跡을 보여주고 있는 이 그림의 跋文들은 作品이 많지 않은 朝鮮前期의 書藝에 대한 傾向을 살펴볼 수 있는 資料的인 價値로서도 그 意味가 크다. 이 들의 글씨에서는, 대부분 松雪體의 影響을 볼 수 있다. 그렇지만 그 외에도 鍾繇, 歐陽詢, 楮遂良, 顔眞卿 등 中國의 유명한 書家들의 風(style)을 보이고 있는 作品들도 있다. 行草書에서는 王義之의 風 또는 王義之의 影響을 받은 조맹부의 書風을 따르고 있다. 그리고, 松雪體의 傾向을 보이는 書家들은, 대부분 桀賢殿의 學士들이 中心이 되고 있다. 高麗末 소개된 조맹부의 松雪體는 貴族的 香氣를 지닌 세련되고 아름다운 모습을 가진 書體로, 특히 이것은 作家의 生存時에 이루어진 交流를 通해 流入되었기 때문에 적극 수용이 可能했다. 松雪體의 流行은 性理學과 밀접한 聯關이 있다. 처음으로 松雪體를 받아들인 사람들은 高麗末 萬卷堂의 朱子性理學者들이며, 결국 이들의 系統이 朝鮮開國의 主導 勢力이 되기 때문이다. 性理學이 理想的 根幹을 이루는 朝鮮에서 松雪體가 開國初의 代表的인 書體가 된 것은 當然한 일이었을 것이지만, 松雪體가 朝鮮의 代表的 書體가 될 수 있었다는 것은 松雪體 자체가 儒敎主義 理念에 合當한 글씨였기 때문이기도 했다. 性理學者인 조맹부가 이루고자 했던 것은 復古主義, 즉 漢族의 偉大했던 과거로의 回歸였다. 政治에 있어서는 堯舜時代가 가장 理想的인 모델이었듯이, 書藝에 있어서는 東晉時代의 王義之의 글씨가 가장 理想的인 모델이었으므로, 그의 書藝에서의 目標는 王義之의 書風으로 돌아가는 것이었다. 결국 그는 古代의 書法을 재검토해 거슬러 올라감으로써, 傳統的 儒敎主義의 目標대로 偉大한 過去를 綜合, 새로운 書體를 創造하였고, 그것이 바로 松雪體인 것이다. 儒敎主義的인 國家體制가 完備된 15世紀 世宗代가 되면, 高麗末 萬卷堂 當時처럼 純粹한 學文的 硏究 風土가 造成되었고, 이러한 분위기에서 安平大君을 비롯한 젊은 性理學者들은 松雪體를 根本的으로 硏究하게 된다. 그리고 바로 위와 같은 理由때문에 松雪體는 그들에게 積極的인 호응을 얻은 것이라고 볼 수 있다. 松雪體는 儒敎主義 國家에 가장 合當한 理念을 가진 理想的인 書體로서 각광받게 되는 것이다. 그리고 '夢遊桃源圖'의 跋文, 贊詩는 이러한 背景을 바탕으로해서 나오게 되는 時代 反映의 産物인 것이다.
