고려 상감청자의 성립과 전개에 관한 연구

Abstract

This treatise is intented to deal with the origin and development of Koryeo Inlaid Ceradon, especially regarding when it was made and how it had developed thereafter. The Inlaid Ceradon is the high level of article as one of the best representives of our country. Although there have been diverse views from the senior scholars, it became inevitable to have a new view about Inlaid Koryeo Ceradon because several new facts were made clear due to progression of the recent studies about Koryeo Inlaid Ceradon. Regarding on Koryeo Inlaid Ceradon , we have been confused about divided preponderance of academic basis on Koryeo Inlaid Ceradon because of chaotic usage between the authorized and proven unearthings of Koryeo Inlaid Ceradon, which have been quoted only as reference materials and the purchases from merchants, which have been accepted as definite unearthings. And thereby we have made serious errors in deciding chronology of Inlaid Ceradon. Accordingly, in this treatise it is the object to take a good look at development of Inlaid Ceradon concretely through the existing remains centering around the recently clarified new facts and certain data ( unearthings, literatures, myeong mun ＜銘文＞ ). In the 1st chapter, I looked about the etymology, the kinds and the techniques of Koryeo Inlaid Ceradon. In the 2nd chapter, I studied the Nomori dakesi(野守建), Go Yu Seob(高裕燮), Jeong Rang Mo(鄭良 謨) and Yoon Yong E(尹龍二)’s theories among established diverse views of the senior scholars about the origin of Koryeo Inlaid Ceradon. On the base of above research, I would like to discuss the origin of Koryeo Inlaid Ceradon more definitely and positively. In the 3rd chapter, I divided the developmental phases of Koryeo Inlaid Ceradon into the period of orgin, the period of Development ( the 1st term and the 2nd term ) and the period of Decline ( the 1st term and the 2nd term ). Following pure Ceradon, Koryeo Inlaid Ceradon was originally made during Ui Jong period( 毅宗 1147-1170), which had been developed and had become the center of Koryeo porcelain and had been made continuously for approximately 250 years till late Koryeo dynasty. and I unfolded the developing phases of Koryeo Inlaid Ceradon with existing remains centering around the certain data (unearthings, literatures and myeong mun ＜銘文＞ ), through comparative analysis. Although the developing course of Inlaid Ceradon was set up dividing into 50 year each, I am trying to understand it's change more clearly by subdividing of periods of their regimes as occasion demends.;이 논문은 고려 상감정자가 언제부터 만들어져 어떻게 전개되었느냐하는 高麗象嵌靑瓷의 成立과 展開를 다루고자 하였다. 상감청자는 우리나라를 대표하는 수준높은 예술품으로, 그 전반에 관한 先學들의 諸說이 있어 왔으나, 최근에 고려도자에 대한 연구가 진전됨에 따라 몇가지 새로운 사실들이 밝혀져 상감청자에 대한 새로운 시각이 불가피하게 되었다. 지금까지 우리는 상감청자의 편년을 규정하는데 확실한 發掘品과 상인에게서 산 購入品이 혼돈되어 사용됨으로써 학술적 근거의 偏重을 나누는데 혼돈을 가져왔고, 이로써 구입품이 확실한 발굴자료로 받아들여지고 발굴자료들이 참고자료로 인용되는 誤謬를 범하여 왔다. 따라서, 本考에서는 최근에 밝혀진 새로운 사실들과 확실한 자료들 (발굴자료, 문헌자료, 銘文자료 등)을 중심으로 현존하는 유물들을 통하여 상감청자의 성립과 전개를 구체적으로 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 제1장에서는 상감정자의 語原 및 상감청자의 종류와 기법에 대해서 간략하게 살펴보았으며, 제2장에서는 象嵌靑瓷의 成立에 들어가기 앞서, 우선 기존의 상감청자의 성립에 관한 先學들의 諸說 가운데 野守建, 高裕燮, 鄭良謨, 尹龍二선생의 설을 검토하고, 이를 바탕으로 하여 상감청자의 성립을 좀 더 구제적으로 논의하고자 하였다. 제 3장에서는 12세기 후만 毅宗年間(1147-1170)부터 제작되기 시작한 象嵌靑瓷가 純靑瓷의 뒤를 이어 高麗靑瓷의 중심으로 발전하고 고려말까지 약 250여년간 꾸준히 제작되어지는 그 전개모습을 成立期, 發展期(제1기와 제2기), 衰退期(제1기와 제2기)로 구분하여 확실한 발굴품 및 문헌자료, 명문자료등을 중심으로 현존하는 유물들과의 비교분석을 통하여 전개시켰다. 또한, 상감청자의 전개과정을 50년씩 끊어서 설정하였으나, 필요에 따라서는 왕의 治世年間으로 세분하여 그 변화를 좀 더 뚜렸하게 파악하고자 하였다.
