巨視와 微視的 視點에서 표현된 꽃의 시각적 재구성

Abstract

현대의 공예는 多數의 公有性과 社會性을 가지며, 시대에 따라 다양하게 발전하고 있다. 이러한, 공예 활동은 산업 생산을 위한 기능적인 면과 순수한 조형성을 추구하는 審美的인 것의 양면으로 발전하고 있다. 즉 공예란 인간 생활을 위한 製作에서 비롯되어 이제는 순수하게 造形性만을 추구하는 작품 제작도 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 염색 공예 역시 천과 염료에 의하여 조형성을 추구하는 독특한 조형 예술의 한 분야로 발전하고 있다. 본 연구는 Wax에 의한 Batik 기법으로, 꽃이라는 대상을 주제로 선정하고, 꽃의 형태가 지니는 구조의 미를 接寫의 방법으로 抽出하고, 여기에 巨視的인 꽃의 전체 형태들을 대비적으로 조화시키어 시각화하는 과정을 통하여 염색 공예로서의 표현성을 모색하고자 함을 그 목적으로 하고 이를 위하여, Ⅱ장의 이론적 배경에서는 첫째 대상을 지각하게 되는 視覺, 즉 視知覺에 대하여 이론적으로 규명하고, 둘째, 대상에서 얻은 感覺과 개념을 認知하게 되는 정신작용과정을 알아보고 이에 의하여 표현하기 위한 정신의 작용이 되는 즉, 이미지의 구체화가 이루어지는 心像에 대해 알아보았다. 세째, 구체화 된 心像의 표현, 즉 形像化에 대해 알아 보았다. Ⅲ장의 작품형성과 해석에서는 꽃의 구조 파악의 한 방법이 되는 接寫에 대해 알아보며, 작품의 형성이 되는 꽃의 대비적인 시각적 구성과 제작과정을 서술하여 15점의 작품을 제작하고, 해석을 하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1 . 자연의 꽃, 즉 유기체에서 발견할 수 있는 形態와 구조의 미는 무한한 것으로써 조형 행위의 대상이 될 수 있다. 2 . 시지각 이론은 작품 형성에 새로운 관점을 제시 해 주었다. 시각의 속성과 지각의 특질, 또한 형상화 과정을 이해함으로, 대상을 보는 시야를 넓힐 수 있었다. 3 . 微視的으로 추출된 꽃의 부분과 꽃의 전체의 거시적 형태들을 대비적으로 조화시키는 방법은 그 꽃의 이미지를 고조시키며 나아가 환상적으로 표현된다. 4 . 염색 공예의 표현에 있어서 한 방법이 되는 Wax를 이용한 Batik기법은 그 표현성이 다양하여 앞으로 개발여지가 많다는 것을 느꼈다. 5 . 면을 소재로 한 염색에서는 선명한 색을 위해 반복하여 채색을 해 주어야 하는 데 이 과정에서 Wax의 윤곽으로 염료가 모이게 되어 결과적으로 윤곽선의 처리가 깨끗하지 못한 점이 있었는데 이는 천에 물칠을 하고, 물기가 거의 말랐을 때 채색을 함으로 다소간의 효과를 보았다. 앞으로의 계속적인 연구로 무한한 염색의 조형적 표현이 가능하리라 믿어지고 나아가서는 산업 염색으로도 발전 가능하리라 생각된다.;Modern craft is developing with common ownership, society and age. Such craft is developing both faces: one is skill for industrial production, the other is aesthetics for pursuing pure plastic arts. So, craft begins from manufacture for human life, but now, manufacture for pursuing only pure plastic arts is advancing activery. Dyeing technology which is made by cloth and dye developing as a peculiar part of craft for plastic arts. In this thesis, flowers are motif with Batik techniques by Wax. The purpose of this thesis is to abstract the structural beauty of flowers structure, by Close up method to grope the expression as a dyeing through the visualizing process. For this purpose, in chapter Ⅱ, THEORITICAL BACKGROUND, First, searched the visual perception, vision in perceiving the object, theoritically. Second, found out the mental process through recognizing of image and concept from the object, and the mental picture as a materialization of image of these. Third, found out the expression and figurization of materialized mental picture. In chapter Ⅲ, FORMATION AND ANALYSIS OF WORKS. find out the Close-up which is the method of understanding the structure of flower, describe the contrast visual composition of flower, produce the fifteen works and the make the conclusion like that; 1) Beauty of form and structure discovered from flower on Nature as an organism, is infinity, and the beauty of that can be the object of Formative Action. 2) Visual perception theory presents the new point of view of work producing. To understanding the peculiarity of perception and the attribute of visual sense. Therefore can be widened the visual sense of object. 3) Abstract a part of flower which is the way of a Close-up, and the way of contrary harmonize with the form of Full flowers, elation the image of flowers and expressed fantastic. 4) Batik techniques which is a method of concretion of dyeing and has so many ways in expression. And there are so many rooms for improvement. 5) In dyeing which material is cotton, for the purpose of distinct color, repeated painting is recommandible. In this process dye is gathered to the margin of Wax, so margin is not clear but after water painting, almost drying and then repainting is some what effective. It is certain that, it is able to concrete the dyeing Formation eternaly with infinitive study, and that it is able to be developed to industrial dyeing.
