韓國의 象徵에 관한 硏究

Abstract

우리의 傳統, 우리의 文化등 우리의 것을 찾으려는 움직임의 절정에 서서 과연 우리의 것을 올바로 인식하고 또한 나타낼 수 있는 것이 어떤 것 일까하는 문제에 대한 연구가 여러분야에서 진행 중이다. 이것은 매우 바람직한 현상으로 생각되며, 이를 위한 올바른 방향이 설정되어야 할 것이다. 현 시점에 있어서, 우리나라는 비록 많은 內外的인 문제를 안고 있지만 좀더 나은 미래의 文化를 이룩하기 위한 기초 작업으로써 올바른 우리것을 찾는 작업이 꼭 필요한 것임을 主旨하는 바일 것이다. 올바른 우리 것을 찾는 작업의 意義는 우리民族의 긍지와 자부심 주체성을 확립하여 우리民族간의 유대를 강화하고, 더불어서 우리나라를 외부세계에 올바로 알리고 인식시키는 데 있다 할 것이다. 이것을 위해 디자인 분야에서 하여야 할 일은 실로 많고 다양하며 그 임무 또한 막중한 것이다. 그 중에서 시각물을 통한 방법이 가장 主가 될 것이며, 이를 위해 많은 연구가 실질적 측면에서 이루어져야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 우리의 것을 시각화하는 연구중의 일환으로써 상징에 대한 문제를 다루어 보았는데 이는 그 역할 면에 있어서나 기능면에 있어서 모든 시각표현에 기초가 되기 때문이다. 이를 위하여 본론을 4부분으로 나누어 論하였다. Ⅱ章에서는 우리民族 정신사에 영향을 주어온 사상들을 살펴봄으로 해서 우리민족 정신의 흐름과 특히 민간신앙으로서의 무속사상의 큰 의의를 알 수 있었다. Ⅲ章에서는 우리의 전반文化와 이를 바람으로 한 各道의 文化를 여러측면에서 조명해 봄으로써 현재 우리文化가 있기까지의 배경과 文化요소들이 지금의 생활과 밀접하게 연결지어 있음을 발견하였다. Ⅳ장에서는 Ⅱ, Ⅲ章에서 論한 바 있는 우리의 사상과 문화를 기저로 하여 관련요소들을 추출하고 분석, 종합하여 상징을 찾음으로써 우리의 상징이 우리민족이 생활하고 있는 어느 곳에서도 발견될 수 있음을 알게 되었다. 그 결과로 얻어진 우리나라 9道의 象徵요소는 아래와 같다. ① 경기도＜한강＞, ② 강원도＜태백산맥＞, 충청북도＜정二品소나무＞, 충청남도＜관촉사 석조 미륵보살 입상＞, 전라북도＜농악＞, 전라남도＜판소리＞, 경상북도＜금관＞, 경상남도＜거북선＞, 제주도＜한라산＞. Ⅴ장에서는 상징의 시각적 표현에 있어서의 바람직한 방향을 설정하기 위한 기초작업으로서의 전통의 의의와 이것의 현대적 의의를 살펴봄으로써 한국적인 시각표현 방향을 설정하였다. 연구결과1 . 바람직한 미래상 설정, 2 . 우리文化에 대한 긍지 3 . 주체성 확립등이 우선적으로 갖추어져야 함을 인식하게 되었다. 이로써 지금까지의 상징에 대한 연구가 우리것을 찾는데 하나의 기반이 되어 우리민족의 화합과 우리나라를 올바로 알리고 인식시키는 데에 하나의 계기점이 되길 바란다.;The question wehther we could acknowledge, express our tradition and our culture correctly is on its summit of research in various ways. In my opinion, this is the most natural phenomena and a genuine direction to should be established. At this point, though our country has many internal and external difficulties I would like to stress that the above work mentioned is fundamental and essential to build our future culture on. The meaning of our work to search for ours is up to the discovery of our people's pride and dignity, establish of our subjectivity, and even strengthen our relationship among us. More over, we have to acknowledge our country most correctly to the external world. In order to perform this work. designing field has various duties and responsibilities which is considered very important. Amongs this, the core of research is to find the method through the sense of sight and for this many studies on substantial aspects have to be accomplished. Consequently, in this treatise, in order to visualize something ours, the question of symbolism as a link is considered because symbol as a representative function becomes the base of all the visual expression. For this purpose, I have divided treatise into 4 different part. In chapter Ⅱ, by examining the thoughts that had great spiritual influence to our people, we could understand the flow of our spirit especially the great meaning to the belief of shamanism. In chapter Ⅲ, by illuminating the various aspects of the detailed background of our over-all culture, We discovered the very existence of the elements and background that is intimately connected to our modern life. In chapter Ⅳ, as discussed in Ⅱ and Ⅲ through the foundation of our thoughts and culture the involved elements could be extracted, analyzed and summarized, I have come to knowledge that our symbols live within our people in their everyday life. As a result our country achieved the following symbols. 1. River Han in Kyung Gi Do. 2. Mount Tae-Beak in Khang Won Do. 3. Chung the second pine tree in Choong Chung Buk Do. 4. Standing Buhda Made of Stone in Kwan Chok Sa in Choong Chung Nam Do. 5. Argricultural music called Nong Aak in Chun La Buk Do. 6. Dramatic Song called Pan-so-rhee in Chun La Nam Do. 7. Golden Crowd in Kyung Sang Buk Do. 8. Turtle Ship called Geo Buk Sun in Kyung Sang Nam Do. 9. Mount Han La in Che-Ju Island. In chapter Ⅴ, as a baseis, to establish a correct direction to symbols of visual expression resulted the establishment of the most Korean-like direction of visual expression by examining the meaning of its tradition and its modern meaning. Research results 1. Established most future - like type. 2. Established pride and dignity on our culture. 3. Recognized that subjectivity should be established first. In conclusion, research on our symbol up until now becomes a basis to the unity of our people and hope that it acts as a motivating moment of informing our country to the world.
