金東里文學과 불의 原型的 想像力

Abstract

金 東里는 1935년부터 지속적인 작품활동 하여 온 작가로, 土俗的인 소재를 형성화한다는 점에서 주목되고 있다. 本 硏究는 作品을 형상화하는 金 東里의 상상 질서를 정립하는데 목적을 두고 있으며, 방법론으로 의식 현상학적인 접근을 시도하였다. 대상 작품으로는 「무녀도」, 「황토기」, 「달」, 「등신불」, 「늪」의 다섯 작품을 택했고, 그 작품들을 관류하는 공통적 내적 움직임에 주목하여 작품을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 불은 金 東里의 상상의 기본유형을 이끌어가는 물질이었다. Ⅱ장에서는 주인공들이 공통적으로 간직한 心火의 성격을 현실 공간에서 환상 공간으로 가는 에너지로써, 그리고 아니마적인 요소로써 파악하였는데, 이 두 요소는 작품을 형상화하는 내부의 힘으로 작용한다. Ⅲ장에서는 작품 전개에서 心火가 外部의 풍경으로 투시됨으로써 주인공의 감정의 상태와 운명을 상징하는 불의 이미지 변용에 주목하여 주인공이 죽음에 이르는 도정을 분석하였다. Ⅳ장에서는 作家가 작품에서 추구하는 意識의 지향성을 밝혀보았는데, 주인공의 心火는 淨化를 통해서, 공간은 神話的인 공간으로의 재조명을 통해서 초월 지향의 의지를 실현하고 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 초월의 지향은 깊이 침잠하는 운동성의 의지로 표출되었다. 이러한 불의 이미지 변용과 공간에로의 확산을 통해 작품을 분석함으로써 주인공, 작품 전개, 미의식을 하나의 통일된 주제로 드러낼 수 있었다.;Kim, Dong-Ri has continued writing creative novels that figure the Korean's folk. This thesis is focused on formulating the order of his imagination in his works. They are approached with the method of the conscio-phenomenological study. For that purpose five works-Mu-Nyou-Do ( 무 녀 도 ), Whang-To-Ki ( 황 토 기 ), Moon( 달 ), Deung-Sin-Bul ( 등신불 ) Swamp ( 늪 )- are chosen. In the process of analyzing and superposing them each other. In found that there is a identical inner movement that appears in Kim, Dong-Ri's short novels. Namely, the fire is the material that leads the basic pattern of his imagination. In chapter Ⅱ, All heroes in his novels commonly have the fire in heart ( 心火 ), and it means both the energy that steer the works from the practical space to fantastic one, and the element of Anima. These two elements operate on the whole works as the inner motivity. In Chapter Ⅲ, 'the fire in heart' is shown through the outside scenery. The transformation of the image of the fire in works means the allusion to the hero's destiny that leads to death. Then in chapter Ⅳ, the question is the author's aspiration that he persuits in his works. Kim, Dong-Ri realizes the aspiration to the transcendence through the purification in 'the fire in hero's heart' and the movement the mythological space. His aspiration to the transcendence appears as a descending dynamic movement deeply and deeply. In short, this study can manifest the heroes' character. development of the stories and the authors' aspiration to the transcendence by analyzing the works in according to the transformation of fire image and the movement to space.
