김인실의 "기도 for string ensemble"(1999)의 제1, 2악장의 분석

Abstract

본 논문은 본인의 석사학위 이수를 위한 졸업연주회 작품 중 하나인 "기도 for String Ensemble" (1999)을 분석한 것이다. 역사에서 변하지 않는 것이 있다면 그것은 변화라는 요인 자체뿐이다. 19세기말부터 조성음악(tonal music)은 빌헬름 리하르트 바그너 (Wilhelm Richard Wagner 1813-1883)의 반음계주의로 서서히 붕괴되기 시작했으며 아놀드 쇤베르크 (Arnold Schoenberg 1874-1951)를 중심으로 한 제 2 비엔나학파 (The Second Viennese School)에 의해 무조성(atonality)이 20세기의 하나의 양식으로 정착되었다. Sextet곡인 "기도 for String Ensemble" 은 이러한 무조적 개념을 기초로 한 3악장의 작품으로 본 논문에서는 1악장과 2악장을 분석하였다. 제 1악장은 A, B, A' 의 3 section으로 구성되어 있으며 여러 가지 음정과 리듬의 결합된 형태가 화성적 · 선율적으로 사용된다. 제 2악장은 Violoncello의 중음주법(double stop)과 삼중음주법이 두드러지게 사용되었고 변박이 주요한 특징으로 나타난다.;This thesis is an analysis of "Prayer for String Ensemble"(1999) which is composed of three chapters, and this work was composed by me for one of the graduation concerts for the completion of my master’s degree. In history, there is only one thing unchanged, that is the changing itself. Tonal music has been started to gradually under the influence of chromaticism by Wilhelm Richard Wagner(1813-1883) since the end of 19th century. And Atonality by the Second Viennese School, led by Arnold Schoenberg(1874-1951), has been settled as a new model of 20th century. "Prayer for String Ensemble" was composed on the basis of this atonal concept. I have analyzed its first and second movements in this thesis. The first movement consists of three sections of A, B and A', which the combined form of various intervals and rhythms has been used as chord and melody. The double stop of violoncello is used outstandingly, and irregular partition of meter is shown as its special feature in the second movement.
