Paul Hindemith의 Sonata fur Flote und Klavier(1936)에 대한 연구분석

Abstract

Paul Hindemith(1895. 11. 16 - 1963 12. 28)는 20세기 독일을 대표하는 작곡자 중 한 사람으로 후기 낭만주의의 전통적인 음악적 형식을 현대적으로 변화시킨 신고전주의에 바탕을 두고 있으며 자신만의 독특한 작곡 이론을 체계화시킨 혁신적인 이론가였다. 무조적 경향에 대항하여 조성의 질서를 찾으려 하였고 소나타, 교향곡, 협주곡 등의 형식을 부활시켜 새로운 연주 장르로 확립시키려고 하였다. 본 논문은 P. Hindemith의 실용음악 중의 하나인 Flute Sonata를 연구, 분석하여 주제의 전개 방법, 화성등의 음악적 특성을 고찰할 것을 목적으로 한다. 이 작품은 3악장으로 구성되어 있으며 1악장은 sonata형식으로 2개의 주제를 가지며 그 주제의 선율은 단순하다. 2악장은 노래하는 듯한 아름다운 선율과 넓은 도약으로 음이 활발한 진행을 한다. 3악장은 scherzo와 Marsch의 두 부분으로 구성되며 8분음표의 구성으로 경쾌한 리듬이 특징이다. 전체적으로 모방·비모방의 대위법, 점음표와 당김음, 반복되는 리듬, 병행하는 화성구조 등이 나타나며 새로운 관현악적 색채가 다른 작품들보다 잘 적용되어 나타나고 있다.;Paul Hindemith(1891∼1963), a composer, conductor, performer, and an educater has established his reputation as one of Germany's most prominent composers of the twentieth century through excellence. His published a blend of traditional classical music with a unique personality, establishing a row form of modern classical music. The purpose of this study is to understand the composer's aim regarding this work, and to carry out on objective and academic performance through research and analysis. This sonata is composed three movements. The general character of these movements can be summarized as development and progression of four major intervals into an essential element of each movement, and appearance of regural change in rhythm, prelude, and beat. The theme of the first movement is presented in a sonata form with simple melody and is imitated, magnified, and transformed. The second movement which is also in a sonata form presents a song-like melody and progressive movement. The third movement is composed of two parts, which is the Scherzo, and can be characterized by a cheerful rhythm of eighth-note. The summary, the this "Flute sonata", a counteracting technique of two instruments, is well representative of the composre's musical experience and orchestral color.
