행태지원성 강화를 위한 환경디자인 모형사례연구

Abstract

Human moves in active way for survival, and for the pursuit of beauty as well, and learn to recognize that the movement makes the condition of environment changed. I as an researcher, based on such ecological perception that explains this phenomenon of moving perception, design the cultural space to strengthen the affordance as the place in direct and indirect contact with nature, coinciding with this time asking conversion to ecological paradigm. To design physical device as a go-between among nature, environment, and human, people are able to join environment through the direct perception in body - to perceive in synesthesia using the five senses-, and experience a beautiful one. As a result, one of meaningful space could be formed While providing not only natural space but also landscape effect to add the tenderness to stiff and cool look of cities, introducing the part of nature into artificial environment, it creates the harmony between artificial and nature. Cultural space lies in neither the surrounding area nor the inside of buildings, but refers to one feild including the building-cultural facilities. Also, applying season and shape as natural elements, spatial features, and appropriate trees contributes to cultural space feature reinforcement in urban center, and enables the enviromental function. The process can be summarized as follows: 1. Show the theoretical background and purpose of investigation 2. Reveal the meaning of affordance in ecological perception and environmental design, and explain the meanig of affordance as interactions between human and enviroment. 3. Represent the environmental perception and affordance in cultural space with case research. 4. Represent applying methods in specific ways, picking trees as an environmental design approach considering the process of ecological perception. 5. Through above all, this work prepares the theopetical frame of environmental design for the reinforcement of affordance, and programms to specifiy spaces. Cultural space planned on the basis of user behavior could contribute to the improvement of life quality as a field of public activities, rest, and meeting. The perception of mobile and feeling space enables users to experience. This investigation represents re alistic case studies through cultural environment design as the method for the reinforcement of environment affordance. It regards the street image as an important element in city structure, and provides various behavior chances for users. It could be the chance to broaden the spatial appliance of natural element considering the process of ecological perception. Like this, the cultural space to happen to meet could be made everywhere around us. So, making people near this cultural space easily and anytime and have behaviors to do would improve the cultural concept to 'the access to everyday life'. The necessity to form the cultural basis to support various behaviors is the priority to cultural space design. All the environment provides 'affordance' for certain behaviors and beautiful experiences. Men's everyday surroundings encourages :some behaviors and restricts others. Environments surrounding men are made up of geographic, architectural, social, and cultural elements supporting some behaviors in certain way. In a certain place, affordance from environment composes 'potential environment' for human behaviors in the place. Humans, through mental, and physical movement. reconstruct the space and time constantly, and through this, build the environment surrounding them. Therefore, I find the meaning of the theory of ecological perception, suppose it as the scholastic conformity to analyze and reveal human in the environment as mobile structure and the relationship, and recognize human as the subject of behaviors and the environment as the field through environmental design model having affordance.;인간은 생존을 위해 더 나아가 미를 추구하기 위해 적극적인 행위로 움직이며, 그 움직임에 따라 주변의 조건이 변화함을 인식하게 된다. 본 연구자는 이러한 역동적 지각현상을 설명하고 있는 생태학적 지각이론을 토대로 생태학적 세계관으로의 전환을 요구하고 있는 이 시대에 부합되는 작지만 직간접적인 자연의 접촉장소로서의 행태지원성 강화를 위한 문화공간을 디자인하는 것이다. 자연과 인간환경, 그리고 인간 사이의 관계의 매개체가 되는 물리적 장치를 디자인한다면, 사람들이 움직이며 신체의 직접적 지각을 통해 환경에 참여함으로써 미적 경험을 하며, 그 결과 하나의 의미 있는 장소가 형성될 수 있을 것이다. 신체의 직접적인 지각은 오감을 통하여 공감각적인 지각을 하는 것을 말한다. 자연적 공간을 제공해 주는 동시에 딱딱하고 차가운 도시의 표정에 부드러움을 주는 조경 효과를 내며 인공 환경 속에 자연의 일부를 끌어 들여 인공과 자연의 조화미를 창출한다. 문화공간은 건축물 주위나 건축물 내부에 존재하는 것이 아니라 그 건축물-문화시설물-을 포함하는 한 영역이라 할 수 있다. 또한 자연요소의 계절과 조형, 공간적 특성 및 현황에 맞는 수목을 적용해서 도심지 내의 문화의 조형적 특성강화에 기여하며 환경적 기능도 가능케 한다. 본 연구의 내용은 다음과 같다. 1. 연구의 배경과 목적을 밝히며, 2. 생태학적 지각과 환경 디자인에 있어서 지원성의 의미를 밝히며, 인간과 환경의 상호 작용으로서 지원성의 의미를 설명한다. 3. 문화공간에서의 환경지각과 지원성을 사례조사와 더불어 제시한다. 4. 생태적 지각과정을 고려한 환경디자인 접근방법으로 식재 적용방법을 제시한다. 5. 위의 모든 과정을 통하여 행태 지원성 강화를 위한 환경디자인의 이론적 틀을 마련하고 공간을 프로그래밍하고 구체화한다. 이용자의 행태를 중심으로 계획되어진 문화공간은 공공활동과 휴식, 만남의 장으로서 삶의 질을 향상시키는 데 기여할 수 있을 것이다. 움직이며 느끼는 공간의 지각은 이용자로 하여금 체험하고 경험하게 한다. 본 연구는 환경의 지원성 강화를 위한 방법으로 문화공간디자인을 통하여 실증적 사례 연구를 제시한다. 가로를 연계한 거리의 이미지를 도시구성 요소의 중요한 부분으로 보며 이용자에게 다양한 행위가능성을 제공하며, 생태학적 지각과정을 고려한 자연요소의 공간 적용을 더욱 넓히는 계기가 되기를 바란다. 이처럼 우리주변 어디서든지 마주칠 수 있는 공간으로서의 문화공간을 만든다. 따라서 쉽게 어느 때이던지 이 문화공간에 접근하여 할 수 있는 행위를 마련하는 것이 문화의 개념을 '일상 삶으로의 접근성'을 높여 주는 것이라고 할 수 있다. 여러 가지 행태를 지원하는 문화기반 조성이 필요하다는 점이 문화공간 디자인을 위한 우선적인 전제조건이다. 모든 환경은 인간에게 어떤 행위와 미적 경험을 위한 '행태지원성'을 제공한다. 인간의 일상적인 환경은 어떤 행태를 장려하기도 하고 또 어떤 행태는 제한하기도 한다. 인간을 둘러싼 환경은 인정한 방식으로 어떤 형태를 지원하는 지리적, 건축적, 사회적, 문화적 요소들로 구성되어 있다. 어떤 특정한 위치에서 환경이 갖는 행태지원성은 그 장소에서의 인간 행태를 위해 '잠재적 환경'을 구성한다. 인간은 정신적, 육체적 움직임을 통해 끊임없이 공간과 시간을 재구성하고 이를 통해 자신을 둘러싼 환경을 구축해 나가는 것이다. 따라서 생태학적 지각이론의 의미를 발견하고 역동적 체계로서의 환경 속의 인간과 그 관계성을 분석하고 규명하기 위한 학문적 준거의 틀로서 가능하다는 가정 하에 지원성을 갖는 환경의 모형사례를 통해 행태의 주체인 인간과 그 장인 환경을 새롭게 인식하고 한다.
