dc.description.abstractIn this thesis, we use a Legendre equation for elliptic curves E defined over C. We study complete elliptic integrals of the first and second kind to the modulus k. We also study some basic theory of elliptic curves and integrals Finally, we solve some examples developed a minute portion of the classical theory of elliptic integrals We can then explain why elliptic curves are so named.;이 논문에서 우선 복소수체상에 타원곡선 E를 정의하고 E의 Legendre equation을 정의한다. E의 Legendre equation을 이용해 complex elliptic integrals를 정의할 수 있다. 그리고 타원곡선과 타원적분에 대한 기본적인 명제들을 공부한다. 또한 타원의 호의 길이를 구하는 문제를 풀어봄으로써 타원곡선이라고 불리는 이유를 확인할 수 있다.-
