지각된 학과분위기에 따른 여대생의 음주기대 차이

Abstract

이 연구에서는 여대생들을 대상으로 지각된 학과분위기(남성성/여성성)에 따른 음주기대 차이를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 가설은 다음과 같다. (1) 학과분위기가 여성적이라고 지각될 때 보다 남성적이라고 지각될 때 음주기대가 더 높을 것이다. (2) 학과분위기가 남성적으로 지각될 때보다 여성적으로 지각될 때 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움이 음주기대에 미치는 영향은 더 클 것이다. 위의 연구 가설을 검증하기 위해 서울 지역 남녀공학과 여학교 여대생 313명에게 설문지를 실시하였고 연구에 적합하지 않다고 판단된 것을 제외한 240부를 분석에 사용하였다. 결과는 t검증, 상관분석, 단순회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학과분위기가 여성적이라고 지각될 때보다 남성적이라고 지각될 때 음주기대가 더 높았다. 둘째, 학과분위기가 남성적으로 지각될 때 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 음주기대는 관계가 없었으나 여성적으로 지각될 때는 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움이 음주기대에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나왔다. 이 결과들은 여대생의 음주에 대한 이해를 돕고 더 나아가 예방적인 개입에 필요한 정보를 시사했다는데 의의가 있다고 하겠다.;The purpose of this study is to examine the differnce of alcohol expectancy on perceived departmental atmosphere of college women. The hypotheses in this study are as follows: (1) If the perceived departmental atmosphere is more masculine than feminine, the alcohol expectancy is higher. (2) When the perceived departmental atmosphere is more feminine, the fear of negative evaluation will influence the alcohol expectancy. For this study, we have surveyed 313 female students currently attending women's colleges and coeducational colleges, and out of the 313 survey results, we have sorted out 240 results, which we thought were appropriate for use on the study. We have analyzed the results with t-test, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The results of the study are as follows: First, when the perceived departmental atmosphere is more masculine than feminine, the alcohol expectancy was higher. Second, when the perceived departmental atmosphere was more feminine, the fear on negative evaluation will influence the alcohol expectancy, but there was no correlation between fear of negative evaluation and alcohol expectancy when the perceived departmental atmosphere was masculine. These results contributed to the understanding on female college students and their drinking habits and served information on preventive intervention.
