F. Schubert의 Variations for Flute and Piano Op.160의 연구 분석

Abstract

본 논문에서 슈베르트 (Franz Peter Schubert, 1797 - 1828)의 작품 Variations for Flute and Piano Op. 160의 분석을 통해 그의 음악에 대해 깊게 알아보고자 한다. 슈베르트는 초기 낭만주의 시대의 작곡가이며 그가 활동하던 시대는 고전주의의 형식적인 음악에서 주관적인 것이 주가 되는 낭만주의 음악으로 전환되는 시기였다. 슈베르트의 음악은 고전적인 음악의 특징보다는 낭만주의적 음악의 특징을 많이 함유하고 있다. 슈베르트는 많은 서정적인 특징의 작품을 남겼으며 그중 가곡의 왕이라고 불릴 만큼 많은 가곡작품을 남겼다. 그의 생애와 더불어 그의 작품의 전반적인 특징은 예술가곡 분야를 통해 나타나고 있다. 본 논문에서는 그의 연가곡집「아름다운 물방앗간의 아가씨」중 18번곡인 “시든 꽃(Trockne Blumen)”을 분석하고 이 곡에서파생된 Variations for Flute and Piano Op. 160을 분석함으로서 슈베르트의 음악적인 특징을 분석하였다. 이 작품은 변주곡인 만큼 주제선율과 그 선율의 변화 양상에 초점을 맞추어 분석하였다. 이 곡의 가장 큰 특징은 조직적인 대위적 모방기법의 사용이라고 할 수 있는데 특히 플룻과 피아노 선율간의 성부교차를 통한 모방이 기교적으로 잘 활용된 작품이다.;This thesis is analyzed Variations for Flute and Piano Op. 160 by Franz Peter Schubert. Schubert, an early Romantic composer, worked in a time of transition. The Classical music which strove for objectivity and formality was giving way to Romantic music which emphasized the subjective dimension of persons. The fact that there are more Romantic elements than Classicist in Schubert's oeuvre makes one categorize him as a Romantic composer. Schubert composed many songs, earning the title of 'King of Songs' Since the song reveals key characters of Shubert's oeuvre, this thesis analyzes one of his art songs and a work which derives from it. The song is「Trockne Blumen」, no. 18 in his song cycle 「Die Schone Mullerin」, and the work which derives from it is Variations for Flue and Piano Op. 160. Since I am looking at a variation, I focus on how the motif melody changes as it progresses. What is especially notable about this work is its contrapuntal imitation technique, which shows most prominently when the flute and piano alternate parts.
