L. v. Beethoven의 Piano Sonata Op. 57과 B. Barto´k의 Allegro Barbaro에 대한 연구

Abstract

이 논문은 필자의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주회의 연주곡목 중 L.v.Beethoven의 Piano Sonata Op.57과 B.Barto′k의 Allegro barbaro에 대해 연구한 것이다. Beethoven의 Piano Sonata Op.57(열정)은 그의 시대 구분에서 제 2기에 속하는 작품으로, 1804년에 시작되어 1806년에 완성되었다. 이 작품은 각각 빠르게-느리게-빠르게의 순서에 의해서 널리 사용되던 고전파적인 3개의 악장을 가지고 있으며, 제 1악장과 제 3악장은 소나타형식, 제 2악장은 변주곡 형식으로 쓰여졌다. 베에토벤은 처음으로 이 곡에서 제 1악장의 제시부 끝에 도돌이표를 사용하지 않았으며, 제 2악장의 휴지없이 곧 바로 제 3악장으로 넘어가도록 지시하였다. Barto′k은 20세기의 많은 작곡가들과 마찬가지로, 피아노를 낭만파의 사람들이 생각하고 있었던 것처럼 노래하는듯한 선율과 아르페지오의 화음을 만들어내는 것으로서 보다는 오히려 첼레스타나 실로폰 계통처럼 타악기로서 취급하는 일이 간혹 있다. B. Barto′k의 Allegro barbaro는 "원시주의(Primitivism)"의 예로서, 연타하는 열광적인 리듬과 좁은 음역의 선율과 동기의 무수한 반복 그리고 예리하며 타격적인 화성 등을 통하여 원시적인 음악을 양식화하고 모방한 작품이다.;This thesis is attempted to study L.v.Beethoven's Piano Sonata Op.57 and B.Barto´kk's Allegro barbaro. Beethoven's Piano Sonata Op.57 (Appassionata) belongs to the second period of his music was begun in 1804 and completed about 1806. This work is constructed classical three movements whose Allegro-Andante-Allegro was widely used at that time, the first and third-movements are in sonata form and the second in variation form. In this work, for the first time Beethoven omits repetition marks in the first movement exposition and he indicated the second-movement continues without a break to third movement.
