L.v.Beethoven Piano Sonata Op. 110과 s.Prokofiev Piano Sonata Op.14 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 L.v.Beethoven의 Piano Sonata Op.110과 S.Prokofiev의 Piano Sonata Op.14의 분석 연구로서, 각 곡의 일반적인 배경과 형식, 화성, 선율, 조성 등을 중심으로 다루었다. Beethoven은 고전시기와 낭만시기를 연결하는 교량적 역할을 하는 작곡가이다. 그의 Piano Sonata Op.110은 낭만적인 면을 보여주는 곡으로서 3악장으로 구성되어 있는데, 제1악장은 소나타 형식, 제2악장은 scherzo-trio-scherzo. 그리고 제3악장은 Arioso와 Fuga가 번갈아 나타나는 2부 형식으로 되어있다. 이 곡에서는 확대된 악절 구조 같은 리듬이나 음형을 악장마다 사용함으로써 악곡 전체에 통일감을 주는것, Minuet 대신 Scherzo 악장의 사용, 예기치 못한 전조와 감7화음·나폴리6화음·증6화음 등의 반음계적 화성의 사용, 화성적인것과 대위법적인것을 똑같이 중요시하는것, 3도 관계조로의 전조 등을 특징으로 하고 있다. Prokofiev는 20세기 초 러시아 음악을 대표하는 작곡가로서, Piano Sonata Op.14는 4악장으로 구성되어 있는데, 제1악장은 소나타 형식, 제2악장은 scherzo-trio-scherzo, 느린 3악장은 2부 형식, 빠른 4악장은 소나타 형식으로 되어있다. 이 곡은 Ostinato음형을 이용한 주제의 발전 및 확대, 교차 리듬, 복조와 복박자의 사용, 반음계적 하행 선율로 조성을 모호하게 하는 요소 등으로 고전주의적이면서도 20세기적 음악 어법을 함유하는 음악이라 할 수 있다.;This thesis is an analytical study on L.v. Beethoven's piano sonata Op. 110 and S.Prokofiev's piano sonata Op.14. The study focuses on general backgrounds, form, harmony, melody, and tonality of each sonata. Beethoven bridged the Classical period and the Romantic period ; and this piano sonata Op.110 shows his romantic side. Sonata is consist of 3 movements the first movement in sonata form, the second movement in scherzo-trio-scherzo, and the final third movement in binary form where ariaso and is repeated one after another. Characteristics of this sonata are ; use of enlarged periods, use of same rhythm and sound pattern on all movements to unify overall, use of scherzo instead of minuet, use of unexpected modulation, frequent use of chromatic harmony such as diminshed 7th chord and Neapolitan 6th chord and German 6th chord, balanced emphasis on harmony and counter-point, and modulation using third relation and Neapolitan key. Prokofiev represents early 20th century Russian music. piano sonata Op. 14 is consist of 4 movements ; the first movement in sonata form, the second in scherzo-trio-scherzo, the third in binary form, the final fourth in sonata form. This piece shows both classical and 20th century music technics by using ostinato pattern to develop and enlarge the theme and phrase, using syncopated rhythm, using bitonality and polymeter, and obscure key caused by chromatic melody.
