디지털 건축의 유기체적 속성에 기반한 공간 형태 실험에 관한 연구

Abstract

새로운 시대의 디지털 패러다임은 인간의 삶의 방식과 사회. 문화적인 통념들에 많은 변화를 가져다주었고 급속하고 다변화된 환경 속에서의 인간은 그 생명성을 유지하기 위해 구축 환경과의 유기적 관계성 유지한다. 유기체로서의 인간은 시스템으로서의 환경에 적응하고 자연과의 완전한 규합을 위한 끝없는 변화와 진화를 계속하고 있는 하나의 유기체로 인식할 수 있다. 이러한 유기체적 생명 현상과 전일적 통합체로서의 자연과의 상보적 공생관계 유지를 통해 인간은 자연이라는 완전체로의 끝없는 환원을 시도한다. 기계론적 절대성에 근거하여 발전되어 온 구축 환경은 스스로의 논리적 한계를 벗기 위해 진화하기 시작하였고 공간의 담론은 상대성과 복잡성으로 대변되는 새로운 물리학이 제시했던 다양성과 우연성에 대한 논의를 넘어 살아있는 유기체로서의 환경과 인간과의 조우에 논의를 본격화하고 있다. 유기체로서의 인간과 제2의 자연으로서의 건조 환경을 상생하는 생명체로 인식함으로써 친 자연적인 담론들이 공간의 진화 방법이 제시되고 있는 현재. 디지털 패러다임은 자연. 인간. 환경의 화해의 해법으로 대두되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 디지털의 개념은 가상성과 유목적 개념을 넘어 시간성과 복잡성을 가지는 유기체적 특성을 미디어의 힘으로 재현함으로써 새로운 환경 구축의 가능성을 보여주고 있고 자연의 표현형에 대한 논의가 아닌 생성의 매커니즘에 주목함으로써 보다 본질적인 생명으로서의 공간으로 발전을 거듭하고 있다. 자연은 스스로의 역동성과 창발성에 의해 형태를 구축하고 환경 자극에 반응을 통해 진화한다. 생명체는 시간이라는 전제를 가지고 변형되고 완성하며 성장하는 복잡하고 연속적인 생명 메커니즘을 통해 항상성을 유지하고 환경에 적응하는 기본적인 속성을 가지고 있고, 이러한 자연의 생명현상을 공간 대입함으로써 살아있는 인간과 호흡하는 유기체적 공간 조형을 가능하게 할 것이라는 견지에서 본 연구를 본격화 하였다. 첫째. 21세기 생명성의 논의와 디지털 패러다임은 건축 및 공간디자인의 영역에서 자연 유기체의 속성에 관한 연구를 본격화, 디지털 건축의 개념으로 발전시켰고 디지털 건축의 선행 연구들을 검토함으로써 그 특성과 조형의 방식을 정리할 수 있다. 둘째. 공간의 형성 방법과 유기체의 개체 생장의 방법은 많은 부분 닮아있다. 이에 디지털 건축이 가지고 있는 유기체적 속성과 발생학과 생물학적 개념에서찾을 수 있는 자연의 유기체적인 형태 형성의 원리와의 관계성을 고찰하고 규합점을 찾아 공간의 형태 구축 방법 적용해 봄으로써 공간 디자인에 대한 새로운 프로세스를 제안하고 실험하였다. 셋째. 자연의 시간에 대한 비가역적인 형성의 논리와 자극 반응성 재현을 위한 도구로 디지털 미디어를 이용하였고 형태를 실험함으로써 예측할 수 없었던 자유롭고 다양한 유기체적인 형상들을 얻을 수 있었다. 디지털 미디어는 그러한 형상들이 공간으로 진화하는 프로세스를 형상화 하도록 함으로써 공간디자인의 무한한 형태 생성 및 변형 실험의 가능성을 보여주었고 유클리드적 한계를 탈피를 통해 상상으로만 가능했던 공간을 실제화 하는 도구로 활용될 것이다. 넷째. 디지털 미디어에 의해 만들어진 유기체적 공간은 더 이상 경제 논리에 의해 만들어지는 체적을 가진 덩어리가 아닌 인간과 호흡하고 감성과 자극에 반응하는 새로운 자연으로의 인식될 수 있다. 환경과 상보성 관계성을 유지하는 자연 시스템으로서의 공간은 유기체적 형태 형성논리 적용을 통해 구체화됨으로써 미적 가치의 제고를 넘어 살아있는 인간과 환경과의 아름다운 공생이 가능한 조화로운 환경 조성에 대안이 될 수 있을 것이다.;The digital paradigm of new agebrings many changes in method and society and cultural common ideas of human beings' lives. In the rapidly diversified environment, human beings have been maintained the organic relation with the constructed environment to conservate their lives. The human being is able to recognize with an organism which continues to change and evolve for the environment adaptation as a system and the complete rally with nature. This kind of organic state attempts an endless reduction to one complete system through the complementary symbiosis relationship with nature as a living complete synthesis. The environment which has developed based on mechanic absoluteness begins to evolve by it's own logical limit, it goes over the discussion about diversity and contingency whichoffered by new physics representative of relativity and complexity to the discussion about the encounter with environment and the human being as the living organisms. The digital paradigm is on the rise as a conciliatory solution among the nature, human being and environment. And also, nature-friendly alternatives are offered as evolution methods of space through the understanding of constructing environment as a living organism and second nature. The concept of digital shows the possibility of new environment construction through not only virtual and nomadic concept but also complexity and diversity of the organic characteristics by media power. It repeats a development in space to more essential life by observation on mechanism of creation. The nature constructs through its dynamic and emergent diagnosis and reacts on stimulus of environment by nature itself. The living organism has changed, grew and completed as time goes by, and it maintains elevation through complicated and continuous life mechanism. This study get into its stride how the living state of nature can be consonant with human beings as complete organic space modeling. Firstly, the issues on digital paradigm and life of 21st centuryare reinvigorated the natural organism of architecture andspace design fields. It expanded to the concept of digital architecture. Through the scrutiny on the existing studies of digital architecture, diagnosis and modeling of the natural organism. Secondly, the formation method of space and the individual growth method of organism resemble in many portion. The study examines and analyzes new process of space design applied to organic formation of nature based on organic, biological and embryological diagnosis of digital architecture. Thirdly, the study draws the diverse and unpredictable organic shapes through the examination using by digital media as a tool for the logic of natural time and revival of stimulus reactivity. The digital media encapsulates the process that such shapes evolve to space and shows the possibility of infinite creation and variation test. It will be used as a method for realizes the imaginary space by breaking away from the Euclid’s limit. Fourthly, the construction space which comes from digital media is not just cubic volume under the economic logic but it could be recognized as new nature where reacts to sensitivity and stimulus of human beings. The space as a natural system that has mutual-repletion relationship with environment will be not only an object of aesthetic value but also the alternative for restorable environment of harmonious symbiosis with living human beings.
