서울시 기업본사의 입지특성에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 서울시 기업본사의 입지특성을 살펴, 서울시의 업무기능이 분화되어 있다는 점, 지역간 전문화 및 특성의 차이가 뚜렷하다는 점, 결국 서울은 신산업공간적인 성격을 나타내어 가고 있음을 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 전국의 매출액을 기준으로 기업체 3000개를 선정한 뒤 그 중 서울에 입지한 기업본사에 대해 업종별, 지역별로 자세한 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서울에 입지한 기업본사의 업종별 분포를 살펴보면 제조업체 본사의 실제 입지수와 입지계수는 서비스업체 본사의 실제 입지수와 입지계수보다 더 낮음을 나타나고 있다. 특히 제조업체 본사의 대부분 업종들은 비도시형 업종에 해당하여 지방의 입지가 더 우세하다. 그러나 몇몇 제조업종-의복 및 모피, 출판 및 인쇄 관련, 사무계산 및 회계용 기기, 영상 및 음향 장치 제조업-의 본사는 오히려 서울에의 집중현상을 나타냈다. 둘째, 서울에 입지한 기업본사의 지역별 분포를 살펴보면, 70년대 말 뚜렷한 중심지역의 집중을 나타내던 기업본사의 분포가 현재 1990년대 중반에는 중심지역 뿐만 아니라 강남지역과 강서지역을 포함하여 다핵화 경향을 나타내고 있다. 셋째, 다핵화된 각 업무지구간에는 집중분포하는 업종이나, 매출 및 고용규모, 계열사 분포, 공장분리 상황 등이 다르게 나타나기 때문에, 각 업무지구간 전문화 경향을 살펴볼 수 있으며, 특히 대기업의 공간적 분포와 그 영향력을 살펴볼 수 있다. 넷째, 서울의 산업구조 변화는 곧, 서울이 유연적인 성격의 신산업공간으로 나아가고 있음을 나타낸다. 디자인·장인적 산업, 생산자 서비스업, 첨단 및 정보 집약적 산업에 대한 기업본사의 서울집중은 바로 신산업공간으로 나아가는 서울의 공간적 성격을 나타내는 하나의 척도라고 볼 수 있다.;The purpose of this study intends to analyze the location of headquarters activities in Seoul. This study is divided into three major purpose ; (1) differentiation of Business function in Seoul, (2) Specialization of Business District on industry/function location pattern, (3) Characteristics of Seoul toward "New Industrial Space". First of all, 3000 firms of the whole country were selected by the standard of sale price. Of these, Firms headquarters located in Seoul were extracted, and analyzed in the way of each industrial/regiona1 classifications. The results are summarized as follows ; First, numbers and L.Q of manufacturing industrial headquarters are lower than these of service headquarters. Especially, most manufacturing industrial headquarters are non-city type industry in policy, So have been moved into local region. But Some manufacturing industrial headquarters -for example, clothing fur, printing · publishing, office machine, multimedia manufacturing-are. concentrated in Seoul. And L.Q is higher than "l", So most service headquarters are concentrated in Seoul. Second, headquarters location was centerd around Jung-Gu in 70's. But now the location is multicored to some region-Central, South, West of Seoul. Third, Because concentrated industry, scale of sale or employee, the systematization of enterprises, dividing of headquarter/plant are different among the business cores, the understanding is that each business district is specialized region. especially location and contol power of Large enterprises are able to be understanded in the state of Korean Economy. Fourth, Industrial Change of Seoul shows that Seoul goes forward Flexible New Industrial Space. About the design · craftman industry, producer service, advanced technological · informational industry, headquarters concentrate in Seoul. So this is a measure understanding the Characteristics of Seoul toward New Industrial Space.
