F. Schubert의 Piano Sonata B^(b) 장조, D.960과 A. Khachaturian의 Toccata에 관한 연구

Abstract

The research was aimed on F. Schubert(1797-1828)'s Piano Sonata Bb Major Key D.960 and A. Khachaturian(1903-1978)'s Toccata, out of those works played at my graduation concert from the graduate school. Purpose of the research was to get theoritical knowledge which helps to understand & play music of different composer, through analyzing historical background & characteristic of individual work. Before analysis of Schubert's Sonata, I generally overviewed on the characteristic & tendency. Then in actual analysis I studied of form, melody, rhythm, harmony, & texture by each movement. Also on Khachaturian's work, I looked into his musical characteristic & background of his work, and then sought to see how such characteristic was reflected on toccata. As late work, F. Schubert's Piano Sonata B^(b) Major Key shows classic Sonata in structure. but the music is romantic as well as profound. The work consists of 4 movements. The first movement is Sonata form, while the second & third movements are three-part forms, and fourth movement is Sonata Allegro form. Throughout all movements, Schubert' s long lyric elody prevails with unique harmonic sense so that meaning is emphasized rather than form. A. Khachaturian's Toccata is splendid music with lyric middle part and consists of ABA' & Coda. In his works Armenian folk expression harmonizes with modem musical expression. Such folk elements are reflected in the work, too. Long first of Allegro Marcatissimo consist of variety of structures and full of vigorous rhythm, using Piano as percussion instrument. Also he used Perpetum Mobile to show Tocca's modem characteristic. In the middle part of short lyric Andante espressivo, it changes lyric blue melody into dynamical harmonic melody after Andante part, and then it goes back to Allegro of first half to develop into vivid rhythm, and finishes with short Coda which imitated the beginning of Andante.;본 논문은 필자의 대학원 졸업연주회에서 연주된 작품들 중에서 F.Schubert (1797-1828)의 Piano Sonata B^(♭)장조, D.960과 A.Khachaturian(1903-1978)의 Toccata에 관해 연구한 것이다. 이 연구는 각 작품의 시대적인 배경과 작품의 특징을 분석을 통하여 각 작곡가의 음악을 이해하고 연주하는데 도움이 되는 이론적 지식에 관하여 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. Schubert 소나타의 작품 분석에 앞서 그의 소나타에 나타난 특성과 작품의 경향에 관한 전반적인 특징을 살펴보았고, 분석에서는 각 악장별로 형식, 선율, 리듬, 화성 및 짜임새에 대해 연구하였다. 또한 Khachaturian의 작품에서는 그의 음악적 특색과 작품배경에 대해 알아보고, 이러한 특성이 Toccata 작품 내에 어떻게 반영되어 있는지 분석하였다. F.Schubert의 피아노 소나타 B^(♭)장조는 전 4악장으로 구성되어 있으며, 1악장은 소나타 형식이고, 2, 3악장은 세도막 형식, 4악장은 소나타 론도 형식으로 되어 있다. 전 악장을 통하여 Schubert 특유의 서정적인 긴 선율이 특출한 화성적 감각의 펼침으로 외적인 화려함보다는 내적 의미에 충실하고 있다. A. Khachaturian의 Toccata는 서정적인 중간 부분을 지닌 화려한 곡으로 ABA'와 Coda로 구성되어 있다. 그의 작품에는 Armenia의 민속적 특색이 현대 음악과 조화를 이루고 있으며, 이 작품에서도 이러한 민속적 요소가 반영되어 있다. Allegro marcatissimo의 긴 전반부는 다양한 짜임새로 되어 있으며, 피아노를 타악기적으로 사용하여 활기찬 리듬으로 가득차 있다. 또한 □ □ □ □ 리듬의 무궁동적 음형(Perpetum mobile)을 사용하여 현대 Toccata의 특성을 보여준다. 중간의 짧은 서정적인 Andante espressivo 부분에서는 아르메니아 고유의 즉흥적 양식의 노래에 영향을 받은 듯한 서정적이며 음울한 선율을 풍부한 화성으로 박진감 있게 발전시켜 간다. Andante 부분이 끝난 후에 다시 전반부의 Allegro로 되돌아가 생동감 있는 리듬으로 전개되며 Andante의 서두 부분을 모방한 짧은 종결구를 이루고 끝맺는다.
