상호작용 비디오디스크(Interactive Videodisc System) 체제에 대한 연구

Abstract

As an ever-increasing education population reduces feasibility of qualitative and individualized instruction, the Interactive- Videodisc System is in a true sen se considered a method of in- dividualized instruction in that it can provide self-paced instruc- tions and real-life images to students. The United States and other advanced national have been widely utilizing the Interacrive-Videodisc System in various fields - in industry, military, medicine, and especially in education as a means of inducing active participation from students This study aimed at providing basic materials/data for effective adoption of the Interactive-Videodisc System into education field in Korea by looking into its basic concepts and usage, and by conducting a survey on this system. For this purpose, the following issues were examined. 1. Investigation into the development process of the Interactive- Videodisc System. 2. Investigation into the characteristic and components of the Interactive-Videodisc System. 3. Investigation into the design and production process of the Interactive-Videodisc System and problems in its use. 4. Examination on the effectiveness of Interactive-Videodisc System study. Based on these study findings, following recommendations were drawn up. 1. Administractive authorities and personnel in charge are required to fully recognize the necessity for the Interactive-Videodisc System and training program for field teachers. 2. Since that domestic literatures and study materials are seriously lacking in volume, futher study activies on this system are absolutely needed. 3. For a full utilization of the Interactive-Videodisc System at schools, it is required to provide sufficient equipments at a national level. 4. Domestic-version tool must be developed for use of software of Interactive-Videodisc System. Accordingly, institutions for the software dvelopment should be established to supply and support softwares.;교육 인구의 계속적인 증가로 인하여 질적인 교육과 개별 학습이 불가능한 현실에서, 자기 속도로 학습하며 생동감 있는 영상을 제공해 줄 수 있는 상호작용 비디오디스크 체제(Interactive-Videodisc System)는 학습자의 능동적인 참여를 이끄는 진정한 의미의 개별 학습 도구라 할 수 있다. 미국을 비롯한 여리 선진국가에서는 상호작용 비디오디스크 체제를 산업분야, 군대훈련분야, 의학분야등에서 널리 활용하고 있으며 또한, 교육분야에 있어서도 능동적인 학습 참여중심의 교육 방법으로 널리 적용하고 있다. 본 연구는 상호작용 비디오디스크 체제의 기초적인 개념 및 활용등을 고찰해 봄으로써, 앞으로의 한국 교육 현장에 상호작용 비디오디스크 체제가 효과적으로 적용되기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이상과 같은 본 연구의 목적을 이루기 위해서, 본 연구는 다음과 같은 내용을 중심으로 실시되었다. 1. 상호작용 비디오디스크 체제의 발달 과정을 검토 2. 상호작용 비디오디스크 체제의 특성과 구성 요소의 고찰 3. 상호작용 비디오디스크 프로그램의 설계 및 제작 과정 검토 및 활용상의 문제점 파악 4. 상호작용 비디오디스크 체제의 학습 효과 검토 이상과 같이 상호작용 비디오디스크 체제를 고찰해 보고, 이 체제가 한국 교육 현장에 적용되기 위해 다음과 같이 제언한다. 1. 상호작용 비디오디스크 체제에 대해 행정당국 및 관련자의 인식이 도모되어져야 하고, 현장 교사를 위한 연수가 요구된다. 2. 이 체제에 대한 국내 문헌 및 연구 자료가 절대적으로 부족하므로 많은 연구가 이루어져야 한다. 3. 학교 현장에서 상호작용 비디오디스크 체제의 활용을 위해서는 컴퓨터 및 비디오디스크 플레이어와 같은 기기들의 수입에 따른 관세가 국가적인 차원에서 낮아지므로서, 많은 사람들이 낮은 가격으로 이 체제를 접할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 4. 상호작용 비디오디스크 체제에서 사용할 수 있는 소프트웨어를 개발하기 위한 한국판 저작 도구가 개발되어야 하고, 소프트웨어 개발전문기관이 설립되어 현장에 소프트웨어를 공급, 지원하여야 한다.
