N. Baruhns의 Organ 음악에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업 연주 곡목인 Nicolaus Bruhns(1665-1697)의 오르간 Toccata G-Dur에 대하여 여러 문헌을 통한 작품의 배경과 이론적 분석 및 곡의 내용과 구조적인 면을 연구한 것이다. N. Bruhns는 북독일 학파의 대표적 인물이며 그의 스승인 Dietrich Buxtehude(1637-1707)에게서 많은 영향을 받았고 그의 영향은 J.S. Bach(1685-1705)에게로 이어진다. 현존하는 Bruhns의 오르간 작품은 모두 5곡만이 전해지며, 4곡의 Toccata G-Dur, G-moll, 두개의 e-moll과 나머지 한곡은 Nun Komm der Heiden Heiland"인 코랄 환타지이다. 본 논문에서 연구한 Toccata G-Dur는 5부분으로 나누어진 Toccata 형식으로써 구성을 살펴보면 Toccata Ⅰ-Fuge Ⅰ-Toccata-Ⅱ-Fuge Ⅱ-Toccata Ⅲ으로 구성되어 있다. Toccata 부분은 손건반의 빠른 passage를 빈번히 사용하였고 Fuge의 주제는 Fuge Ⅱ의 주제에서 2배의 음가로 확장되어 나타나며 4박에서 6박으로 변형되는 유사한 구조를 갖는다. Fuge의 기교적 duble pedal의 사용과 함께 북독일 학파의 작곡기법을 잘 나타내고 있다.;This thesis is the study of the recital programs (Toccata G-Dur) presented preparing for the M.M. degree at the end of my graduate Course. The study includes a brief deseription, analyzed the content and structure of each work. To have more understanding, my the writer examined into organ works of N. Bruhns who worked in Husum as an organist in his full activity. He, a leading character of North German School, was a pupil of D. Buxtehude and he was deeply influenced by his Teacher in his Organ Music. Toccata G-Dur-Toccata is composed of 5 sections : Toccata I-Fuge I-Toccata Ⅱ-Fuge Ⅱ-Toccata Ⅲ. Fuge I and Fuge Ⅱ have similer structure and the theme of Fuge I is transformed in fuge Ⅱ. An Organist has to use double pedal throughout the whole work. And this difficulty makes the work a unique one.
