Johann sebastian bach의 violin독주를 위한 partita BWV 1004중 chaconne에 관한 연구

Abstract

The objective of this thesis is to research Johann Sebastian Bach's last movement of Partita for solo violin, which is chaconne. A special reference to his life, and musical characteristics and, the formation of main theme and harmony are analyzed. J. S. Bach(1685∼1750), one of the best composer in Baroque Period, left many outstanding piece of compositions in all field of music except opera. One of his composition, the Partita, was composed in Co^(‥)then period when J.S. Bach was full of vigor. This particular piece takes a modified form of the Baroque suite； which its movement comes in order of Allemande-Courante-Sarabande-Gigue. However, there is one more movement, chaconne. Due to chaconne's majesty, previous four movements are only sounds as a prelude for it. Chaconne's splender main theme plays thirty times through 257 phrases. It consists of three parts； the first is considered as main part, the second plays a trio role, and the third works as a coda In detail, the first part plays variation of main theme which consists of eight phrases in d minor key. The second part's structure and chord are as similar to the first part however the key modulates from d minor key to D major key. The third part, the main theme plays again at the thirtieth's variation and the key modulates back to d minor in order to give a uniformity of both. In conclusion, J. S. Bach uses powerful scale passage and strict structure of counterpoint. He also uses wide musical range to extend melody. As the result of all, he created not only magnificent but also a rich sound of violin through this movement.;본 논문은 Johann Sebastian Bach(1685∼1750)의 Violin 독주를위한 Partita BWV 1004의 마지막 악장인 Chaconne를 분석한 것이다. 연구내용은 여러 문헌을 통하여 작곡가의 생애와 작품배경 및 음악적 특성에 대해 살펴보고 Chaconne의 개념 정의 및 역사적 고찰, 작품의 형식을 중심으로한 주제선율의 발전과 응용, 화성의 구조를 분석하는 방법으로 진행되 었다. 이 곡은 J. S. Bach의 창작열이 가장 왕성했던 Co¨then 시절에 작곡된 것으로서 고전 모음곡의 기본형식인 Allemande-Courante-Sarabande-Gigue 다음에 위치하지만, 이 곡의 장대함으로 인해 앞의 4곡이 마치 전주곡인것처럼 느껴진다. 전체적으로는 D조의 조성적 통일감을 가지며 장려한 주제가 257마디에 걸쳐 30번이나 되풀이되면서 크게 3부분으로 나누어진다. 제1부분은 전체의 반 이상을 차지하면서 Chaconne의 주요부를 이루고, 제2부분은 트리오에 해당하며, 가장 짧은 제3부분은 마지막 변주에 주제를 다시 연주함으로써 장대하고 엄숙하게 끝맺으며 코다의 역할을 한다.(1)) 이 곡을 통해 J. S. Bach는 Violin의 화려하면서도 풍부한 소리의 울림을 유도해냈으며 뛰어난 대위법적 구성과 긴장감 높은 화성의 연결을 보여주었다.
