F. Schubert의 Sonata에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 필자의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주회의 곡목 중 F.Schubert(1797-1828)의 Sonata Op.122 D.568에 대한 분석이다. 슈베르트는 31세라는 비극적 짧은 생애동안 예술가곡(Lied)의 작곡가로서 확고한 위치를 차지하고 있으며, 피아노 음악에 있어서도 훌륭한 작품들을 많이 남겼다. 그의 작품들에서 상상력이나 감정 등의 표현에 역점을 두어 새롭고 과감한 화성 및 조성변화를 사용하였다는 점에서 낭만주의의 기수였다고 할 수도 있다. 본 논문에서 연구하고자 하는 슈베르트의 Sonata Op.122 D.568은 초기 소나타 가운데 한 곡이다. 특히 각 악장에서는 빼어난 가곡 작곡가답게 다양한 선율 아이디어들을 연달아 내놓는데 각 선율은 동형 진행과 반복을 통해 나타난다. 화성에 있어서는 German 6와 Neapolitan 6의 증 6화음을 사용해 선율의 색채감을 더해주고 있다. 그리고 다양한 전조가 이루어지는데 3도 관계의 전조가 특징적이다. 리듬에 있어서는 1악장의 제 1주제와 제 2주제의 리듬이 전 악장에서 다양하게 사용되고 2악장에서는 넷잇단음표가 반복된다. 3악장과 4악장에서는 부점 리듬과 당김음 리듬이 자주 사용되어 악장 간의 특징을 확실히 보여 주고 있다. 본 논문에서는 슈베르트의 Sonata Op.122 D.568을 연구, 분석하여 슈베르트의 피아노 소나타의 특징이 어떻게 나타나는지를 알아보고 그의 음악 역사상의 위치를 살펴보고자 한다.;Franz Schubert (1797-1828) is believed to have left some twenty -three solo piano sonatas of which twelve sonatas are complete. One of his complete works, the sonata in E^(b) Major, D. 568, was analyzed to understand the features of Schubert’s piano sonata genre. Through the analysis of this sonata, the following characteristics were Firstly, Schubert used melody without transformation for the That is, it is not a motivic development but found. thematic development. a sequential development. Secondly, the thematic relationship of the four movements is clear. The themes of the second and third movements are quoted from the first theme of the first movement, and that of the fourth movement resembles the main theme of the first movement in many aspects. The work consists of four movements. The first movement and the fourth movement are in Sonata-Allegro form, while the second movement is in A-B-A'-B'- Coda and the third movement is in Da-capo form. Throughout all movements, Schubert's long lyric melodic style prevails with his unique harmonic sense so that meaning is emphasized rather than form. Thirdly, this piece has varied harmony and uses dramatic modulation from the begining to the end. The characteristics for each movement, the arrangement of the movements, and form in Schubert's sonatas feature the classical style. But even in this early work, rich sonority, increased dissonance in comparision with earlier romantic composers', and transient tonal ambiguity by means of frequent modulation belong to the trend of Romanticism. Therefore, Schubert is a typical romantic composer in view of using the classical form in conjunction with rich harmony, especiadly the use of the augumented sixth chord and frequent modulation.
