가정의 사회적 풍토와 유아의 사회성숙도와의 관계

Abstract

본 연구는 가족의 유형과 가족의 사회적 풍토(결속, 표현, 갈등)가 유아의 사회성숙도에 미치는 영향을 알아 보는데 그 목적을 두었다. 본 연구를 위한 문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 가족의 유형에 따른 사회적 풍토와 유아의 사회성숙도는 차이가 있는가? 2. 부모의 학력, 직업에 따른 가족의 사회적 풍토에는 차이가 있는가? 3. 가족의 사회적 풍토 하위요인간의 관계는 어떠한가? 4 .가족의 사회적 풍토와 유아의 사회성숙도간의 관계는 어떠한가? 5. 성별에 따른 가족의 사회적 풍토와 유아의 사회성숙도간의 관계는 어떠한가? 본 연구의 대상은 서울시내에 위치한 1개 유치원과 1개 새마을 유아원에 다니는 만 5세 유아 80명과 이들의 어머니 80명이다. 가족의 사회적 풍토를 조사하기 위해 Moos & Moos의 Family Environments Scals ( FES ) 중 3가지 하위요인, 즉 가족의 결속, 표현, 갈등의 질문문항을 사용하였으며 사회성숙도 검사는 한국행동과학연구소에서 제작한 사회성숙도 검사를 이용 하였다. 조사결과 수집된 자료는 부모의 학력, 직업에 따른 가족의 결속, 표현, 갈등의 차이를 보기위해 평균과 표준편차를 산출하여 F검증 하였고, 가족의 유형과 성별에 따른 사회성숙도의 차이를 보기위해 t검증을 하였으며, 각 변인간의 관계를 알아보기 위해 pearson의 적률상관계수를 산출하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 가족의 유형에 따른 결속, 표현, 갈등과 유아의 사회성숙도에는 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 부모의 학력과 아버지의 직업에 따른 가족의 결속, 표현, 갈등에는 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 3. 가족의 결속, 표현, 갈등간의 상관은 있는것으로 나타났다. 결속은 표현과 정적인 상관이 있었으며 갈등과는 부적인 상관이 있었다. 표현은 갈등과 부적인 상관이 있었다. 4. 가족의 결속, 표현, 갈등과 유아의 사회성숙도와의 상관은 있는 것으로 나타났다. 가족의 결속과 표현이 높을수록 사회성숙도는 높았으며, 갈등이 높을수록 사회성숙도는 낮았다. 사회성숙도 하위요인과의 관계에서 가족의 결속은 운동하기, 스스로 하기, 타인과 어울리기 성숙도와 정적인 상관이 있었으며, 가족의 표현은 의사전달하기, 타인과 어울리기 성숙도와 정적인 상관에 있었다. 가족의 갈등은 운동하기 성숙도를 제외한 모든 사회성숙도 하위요인과 부적인 상관이 있는것으로 나타났다. 5. 가족의 결속, 표현, 갈등과 유아의 사회성숙도와의 관계는 성별에 따라 표현만이 차이가 있었으며, 사회성숙도 하위요인과 가족의 결속, 표현, 갈등과의 관계는 성별에 따라 차이가 있었다. 가족의 표현과 사회성숙도 하위요인과의 관계에서 여아는 스스로하기만을 제외한 모든 하위요인과 관계가 있었으나, 남아는 타인과 어울리기만을 제외한 모든 하위요인과 관계가 없는것으로 나타났다. 가족의 갈등과 사회성숙도 하위요인과의 관계에서는 여아는 운동하기 만이 관계가 없었으나, 남아는 모든 하위요인과 대부분 강한 부적인 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다.;The purpose of this study was to examine whether family style and Social Climate of the family have an effect on Children's Social maturity. The questions for this study are as follows; 1. What is the significant difference to Social Climate of the family and Children's Social maturity by family style ? 2. What is the significant difference to Social Climate of the family by Parental Education and father's occupation? 3. What relationship does exist between cohesion, expressivenoss, Conflict of the family members? 4. What relationship does exist between social Climate of the family and Children's Social maturity? 5. What relationship does exist between social Climate Social maturity according to the sex? The subjects of this study were 80 Children of five years old attending the kindergarten and nursery school in Seoul and their 80 mothers. The instruments employed in the study are : The Investigation of Family Environment Scale (FES) by Moos & Moos and Social Maturity by korea Behavior Science Research Institute. Mean and standard deviation were calculated and F, t-test was used to analyze the colleted data. To check the relations between each variable, Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient was Calculated. The Results of this study are as follows : 1. There were not significant difference on Social Climate of the family and children's social maturity by family style. 2. There were not significant difference on social Climate of the family by parental education and father's occupation. 3. There was a significant correlation between cohesion, expressiveness,conflict of the family members. Cohesion of the family members have positive correlated with expressiveness of the family members and have negative correlated with Conflict. also, expressiveness have negative correlated with Conflict. 4. There is a significant correlation between Social Climate of the family and children's social maturity. The higher Cohesion, expressiveness of the family members, The higher children Social maturity is. While, The higher Conflict of the family members, The lower children's Social maturity is. When we see the relations between Cohesion, expressiveness, conflict of the family members and Sub-Cause of children's Social maturity. Cohesion of the family members had a positive correlation with Locomotion, Autonomy, socialization maturity, Expressiveness of the family members had a positive correlation with Communication, Socialization maturity. While, Conflict had a negative Correlation with all the sub-Cause maturity except Locomotion. 5. Expressiveness of th family members and children's Social maturity Showed difference according to the sex only. When we see th relations between cohesion, expressiveness, Conflict of the family members and Sub-Cause of children's social maturity according to the sex, At Expressiveness of fanily members, girls showed positive correlation to all the sub-cause maturity except Autonomy maturity. While, boys showed no correlation to all the sub-cause maturity except socialization maturity.
