連續刊行物 管理業務 電算化에 관한 硏究

Abstract

連續刊行物管理業務의 電算化는 資料의 急激한 量的 增加와 頻繁한 書誌事項의 變動, 그리고 單調롭고 反復的인 業務 등과 關聯된 問題點들의 解決策으로서 最善의 方案인 것이다. 따라서 本論文에서는 社會科學中에서 특히 隣接學問分野가 多樣하여 硏究의 領域이 廣範圍한 經濟分野資料를 對象으로 連續刊行物管理業務를 電算化함으로써 利用者에 대한 迅速한 情報提供 및 效率的인 管理를 통한 業務改善을 이루고자 하였다. 이러한 目的을 達成하기 위하여, 經濟分野資料를 集中的으로 蒐集하고 있는 10개의 惰報資料室과 圖書室을 選定하여 業務現況을 分析하고 이를 바탕으로 마스터파일을 設計하였다. 電算化된 連續刊行物管理業務시스템의 設計는 뱃치(batch)시스팀을 前提로 하였으며, 各種 目錄生産시스팀, 注文/更新시스팀, 체크인/督促 (check-in/claims)시스팀, 製本시스팀을 서브시스팀으로 設計하였고, 各種 리스트 및 報告書, 指示書, 統計리스트에 대한 說明과 함께 選別된 데이터를 入力·運營시킴으로써 所藏리스트, 主題리스트, 注文/更新리스트, 督促리스트, 製本指示書 등을 出力시켰다. 圖書館資料를 보다 效率的으로 活用하여 利用者에게 보다 나은 情報써비스를 提供하기 위해서는 데이터베이스를 통한 連續刊行物管理業務가 가장 效果的이다. 이러한 데이터베이스를 合理的으로 運營하는 方案으로서, 旣存의 데이터베이스를 그대로 活用하도록 하며, 데이터베이스를 共同管理하는 調整機構를 둔 分散形態의 네트워크를 構築, 運營하는 것이 바람직하다.;Automation for serials control is considered to be a best solution for the problems deriving from rapid increase in quantity of material, frequent bibliographic changes ad repetitive serials control work. An attempt is made in the study to improve the management system of libraries through automating the serials control system in the field of economics. To accomplish the above object, ten libraries are selected, of which the present conditions are analyzed, and a master file is designed on the basis of the analysis. The design of the automated serials control system assumes the batch system, and the subsystem consists of production systems of various catalogs, ordering/renewal system, check-in/claim system, and binding system. The processes involved in producing lists, a subject list, an ordering/renewal list, a claim list, and a binding slip are explained. The most effective way to offer user better information service is to adopt the automated serials control system using a database. It seems most likely for efficient management to utilize the established databases, and to constitute and manage a distributed network with a coordinating organization which connects different databases.
