지식관리시스템(Knowledge management system)아키텍쳐 결정요인에 관한 탐색적 연구

Abstract

세계경제가 산업시대에서 지식시대로 돌입하게 됨에 따라 지식이 기업의 주요자원으로 인식되기 시작하고 지식관리가 기업들이 미래의 글로벌 경제에서 성공하기 위해 개발해야만 하는 핵심경쟁력이 되고 있다. 이러한 지식관리를 구현해 주는 보다 적극적인 수단으로 외국을 비롯한 국내의 많은 기업들이 효과적인 지식관리시스템을 개발하려는 시도를 하고 있으나, 지식관리시스템의 설계방식이나 구성요소를 찾는데 어려움을 겪고 있는 실정이다 기업에서 시스템을 개발하는데 있어서 아키텍쳐의 중요성이 강조되어 왔다. 아키텍쳐는 비즈니스 요구사항을 반영하고 시스템의 구성요소 간의 관계성 분석함으로써 시스템 성능에 영향을 준다. 따라서 아직 성장의 초기 단계인 지식관리시스템 개발에 있어 본 연구목적 이라 할 수 있는 지식관리시스템 아키텍쳐의 개념적 프레임웍을 파악하고 이를 결정하는 요인을 분석하는 것은 효과적인 지식관리시스템의 설계와 성과에 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다. 본 연구목적은 첫째 탐색적 연구를 통하여 지식관리시스템 아키텍쳐의 개념적 프레임 웍을 개발한다. 둘째 지식관리시스템 아키텍쳐 구성요소 들의 역할 및 중요성을 파악한다. 마지막으로 효과적인 지식관리시스템을 구현하기 위해 아키텍쳐를 결정하는 요인을 도출해 낸다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 효과적인 지식관리시스템을 실현하기 위한 비전을 제시하고자 하는 것이다. 사례분석을 위해 A사의 지식관리시스템 구축사례가 관찰되고 분석되었다. 아키텍쳐를 파악하기 위해 비즈니스 아키텍쳐, 컨텐트 아키텍쳐, 시스템 아키텍쳐의 세 가지 차원에서 분석하였다. 이와 아울러 이러한 아키텍쳐 구성시 결정요인을 도출하였다. 아키텍쳐를 결정하는 요인으로는 경영전략, 실행 도구 선택, 지원능력, 사용지수, 반응시간, 통신상과부하, 과업상호연관성, 시스템유연성이 중요요인으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 실무적으로 지식관리시스템 개발자나 정책 결정자들이 효과적인 지식관리시스템 구현하는데 비전 및 구조를 제공해 주고, 학문적으로는 지식관리 시스템 개발에 대해 아키텍쳐적 접근방식을 수행했다는 데에 대한 관심과 이러한 아키텍쳐를 바탕으로 실제 효과적인 지식관리시스템 프로토타입 개발 및 구현에 대한 연구가 이루어질 수 있는 기반을 제공해 줄 것이다.;Knowledge Management is becoming a core competence that companies must develop to succeed in tomorrow's dynamic global economy. Many Companies are trying to develop effective Knowledge management system but having difficulty in constructing the contents of Knowledge Management System (KMS). In this perspective, architecture is a crucial part of the system design process. Architecture has impact on the performance of system by considering business requirements and analyzing relationships between system components. It is therefore important to develop the conceptual framework and analyze the determinants of KMS architecture for the design and performance of effective KMS. The objectives of this research are as follows, - To develop a conceptual framework of KMS Architecture. - To recognize a role and function for contents of KMS architecture. - To extract determinants of KMS Architecture to implement successful knowledge management. This study suggests the vision for realizing effective KMS architecture. For the purpose of this study, a case study on the KMS Implementation is done and analyzed. It is analyzed in terms of business architecture, content architecture, and system architecture in order to identify architecture. In addition, it is analyzed the factors affecting constructing this architecture. According to the results of this study, the factors determining KMS architecture are as follows: business strategy, support capability, the number of users, development tool selection, response time, network overload, task interaction, system flexibility. Because the Successful KMS Implementation requires essentially the appropriate arhitecture, For the practitioners, this study provides vision and structure for the effective KMS implementation. For the researchers, this study provides interests in the architectural approach for the development of KMS and basis for the research on the development and implementation of the effective KMS prototype based on the architecture.
