Extension of the Schwarz Lemma

Abstract

The Schwarz lemma plays very important role in the study of theory of univalent function as well as subordination principle and majorization. In this thesis, we solve several problems contained in the book "Conformal Mapping" by Z. Nehari for application of Schwarz lemma. For extension of Schwarz lemma, we study the results of Dieudonne′ and Rogosinski[1] and strengthened the omitted steps of their proof with calculations in detail.;Schwarz lemma는 univalent function의 이론을 공부하는데 있어서 subordination, majorization과 관련하여 많이 활용된다. 우리는 Schwarz lemma의 응용을 위하여 Z. Nehari의 "Conformal Mapping"에 있는 몇가지의 문제를 풀었다. 또한, Schwarz lemma의 확장으로 Dieudonne와 Rogosinski의 결과를 공부하고, 생략된 증명단계를 자세히 서술하였다.
