Enrique Granados의 『Goyescas』에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 그라나도스(Enrique Garanados y Campina, 1867∼1916)의 [고예스카스(Goyescas)]에 관하여 연구한 것이다. 그라나도스는 스페인 근대 민족주의 악파의 한 사람으로서 스페인 피아노 음악을 발전시키고 작품 [스페인무곡집(Danzas Espan~oles)]과 [고예스카스]를 통하여 우리에게 알려져 있다. [고예스카스]는 그라나도스가 숭배했던 화가 고야에 대한 인상을 음악적으로 표현한 6곡의 모음곡으로 1911년에 작곡된 피아노 곡이다. 이 작품의 특징은 낭만주의 어법 위에 스페인의 민속 음악 특징이 함께 나타나며 대규모의 악곡이 하나의 일관된 흐름을 갖도록 구성되어져 있다. 작곡 기법은 상행, 하행이 혼합된 아치(arch)형의 선율, 고전적이고 풍부한 화성, 리듬의 변형과 반복, 주요 동기의 단편을 이용한 동형 진행, 즉흥성을 띤 악곡으로 쇼팽, 슈만의 영향과 프랑스의 살롱(salon)음악을 연상케하며 스페인의 민속 선율과 다양한 장식음, 민속 무곡의 리듬, 기타 악기의 음색을 반영한다. [고예스카스]는 각 곡의 제목에서 암시 하듯이 마호와 마하의 사랑을 주제로 하였고, 제시되어진 하나의 리듬형이 각 곡을 통하여 쓰여졌으며, 초기 곡들에 나오는 주제 선율이 후기 곡에 나옴으로써 순환된 흐름을 보여 준다. 결론적으로 [고예스카스]는 각각의 개성적인 악곡들이 모여서 하나의 통일성을 이루었으며 스페인 민속 음악의 특징이 잘 반영된 곡이다.;This thesis is a study on 'Goyescas' of Enrique Granados y Campina. Granados was one of Spain's modern nationalism group members, and known to us for his contribution to Spanish piano music by his works 'Danzas Espan^(～)oles' and 'Goyescas.' 'Goyescas' is a collection of six pieces expressing his impressions of Goya whom he admired, a work for piano composed in 1911. The characteristic of this work is that it shows both romantic expression and the character of Spanish folk music, and is made up of one coherent flow of music on a large scale. Regarding his composition techniques, it has melody of arch form mixed with vertical lines, classical and rich harmony, the transformation and repetition of rhythm, same--formed development using fragments of major motives, and improvisation, and reminds us of Chopin and Schumann's influence and French salon music. Also, it reflects Spanish folk melody and various decorative notes, the rhythm of folk dance, and the tones of other instruments. 'Goyescas' shows, as the title of each piece implies, the development of the subject of Maha and Maho's love, and the one rhythmic form written through each piece, and a circulated flow by incorporating previously-shown subject melodies in latter pieces. In conclusion, 'Goyescas' is a musical work composed of six individual pieces but designed in unity, and reflects Spanish folk characteristics well.
