유아교육 관계기사 분석

Abstract

본 연구는 1945년 12월부터 1962년까지의 동아일보에 나타난 유아교육 관계기사를 수집하고 내용 분석하여 시대에 따른 유아교육의 경향성을 파악하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다. 1. 유아교육 관계기사의 시기별 경향은 어떠한가? 2. 유아교육 관계기사의 전체경향은 어떠한가? 본 연구는 동아일보를 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구의 대상에 실린 216편의 유아교육 관계기사를 내용 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 관계기사자료의 시기별 경향 1) 제1기 (1945년 12월~1950년 6월) 제1기의 총 기사수는 16편, 연평균 기사수는 3.5편이었다. 유아교육기관설립이 9편으로 가장 많았고, 교사재교육이 2편, 부모교육이 2편, 기관육성이 1편이었다. 따라서 제1기는 유아교육기관설립에 가장 많은 관심을 나타낸 시기였다. 2) 제2기 (1951~1953년) 제2기는 전쟁기간으로 총 기사수는 2편, 연평균 기사수는 0.7편이였다. 2편의 기사는 유아교육행사에 관한 것으로 유아교육이 침체된 시기였다. 3) 제3기 (1954~1962년) 제3기의 총 기사수는 198편, 연평균 기사수는 22편이였다. 부모교육 기사 중 육아가 120편으로 가장 많았고, 양육태도·역할은 33편이였다. 유아교육행사는 16편, 유아교육기관설립은 7편, 유아교육기관운영은 7편, 유아교육제도·정책은 4편, 유아교육내용·방법은 8편이였다. 제3기에는 전체 기사수가 급증하였고 육아에 관심이 집중되었다. 또한 일부 유아교육내용·방법, 부모양육태도·역할에 대한 관심이 처음으로 나타났다. 따라서 제3기는 양적 증가와 더불어 다소의 질적 향상이 이루어졌다. 그러나 유아예술행사가 대두되었고 유아교육관, 유아교육법, 전인적인 유아교육내용·방법에 대한 관심이 부족했던 시기였다. 2 .전체 기사자료의 경향 제 1·2·3기의 총 기사수는 216편, 연평균 기사수는 13편이였다. 제 1기의 16편 기사수는 제 2기 2편으로 감소하였다가 제 3기 216편으로 급격히 증가하였다. 제 1·2·3기의 관심의 경향을 보면 제 1기에는 유아교육기관설립에 관심이 집중되었고, 제 2기에는 침체되어 특정 관심 분야가 없었다. 그러나 제 3기에는 육아에 대한 관심의 급증과 더불어 유아교육에 대한 내용·방법, 양육태도·역할 등 새로운 관심 분야가 나타났다. 이처럼 제 1·2·3기의 경향은 다르게 나타났다. 그러나 제 1기의 관심은 제3기에 지속되거나 증가되는 경향을 나타냈고, 제 1·2·3기 모두 전인적인 유아교육내용·방법, 유아교육관, 유아교육제도·정책에는 계속 무관심했다.;The purpose of this study is to analyze the D newspaper articles for early Childhood education, from December 1945 to 1962. For the purpose, concret questions are as follows: 1. What are annual tendency of selected articles? 2. What are total tendency of selected articles? After analyzing of 216 article, the result of study are as follows: 1. The annual tendency 1) During the first period(1945. 12- 1950. 6), the total of articles were 16, and the annual average of articles were 3.5. Most concerned area was about kindergarten establishment. 2) The Second period(1951-1953) was during the 6.25 Civil War. During this period, the total articles were only 2, and the annual average of articles was 0.7. Two articles were for art festival. Therefore the attention to early childhood education showed deep sump during the second period. 3) In the third period(1954-1962), the expansion of D newspaper articles of early childhood education was remarkable. A total of articles were 198 and the annual average of articles was 22. The articles concerning the child rearing were 120, there were most of the concern. In the third period, some articles concerning early child rearing method of parent, teaching method, and art festival of kindergarten appeared. But concern concerning philosophy, purpose, and policy of early childhood education came short continuously. 2. The total tendency During the three period a total of articles were 216. The attention of the three period showed the uniqueness by the period.
