G. F. Handel, W. A. Mozart, F. Mendelssohn, G. Barber, C. Chaminade의 聲樂作品에 對한 硏究

Abstract

본 논문은 필자의 석사 과정 이수를 위한 졸업 연주회 프로그램에 대한 연구로써 작곡가들의 성악곡에 대한 특징과 작곡가의 음악적인 배경을 살펴본 것이다. Georg Friedrich Ha¨ndel(1685~1759)은 바로크 작곡가의 대표자로 18세기 음악 발달에 큰 업적을 남긴 작곡가이다. 그의 Solo cantata No.43, "Non Sospirar"는 Soprano를 위한 곡이며, 17세기부터 발전되어 온 세속 Cantata 중의 하나이다. Basso continuo 반주로 되어 있으며, 형식은 Aria-Recitative-Aria로, 이때 Aria는 Da capo aria이다. Recitative 형식은 나폴리 악파가 주로 사용한 Secco recitative이다. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart(1756~1791)는 고전파 양식을 확립시킨 대표적인 작곡가이다. 그의 Cantata K.619는 독일어로 된 가사를 사용했고, 또 그 가사의 내용이 성서에 근거를 둔 서정시라는 점에서 독일 Cantata의 범주에 넣을 수 있는 소 독일 Cantata이다. 1791년에 작곡되었고 Soprano와 Piano를 위한 곡이다. 형식은 여러 다른 유형의 section들이 연결되어 이루어졌다. Recitative 이외의 선율들은 Aria라기 보다는 Arioso적인 선율들이다. Felix Mendelssohn(1809~1847)은 고전주의적 낭만파 작곡가 중의 한 사람이다. 그의 많은 작품 중 Concert aria는 단지 무 작품에 불과하다. 그 중 하나인 "Infelice"는 1834년에 작곡되었으며, 관현악 반주로 된 독창곡이다. Tempo의 변화나 화성의 다양성을 통해 Concert aria의 전형적인 모범이 되며, 선율이 매우 서정적이고 아름다운 곡이다. Gustav Mahler(1860~1911)는 후기 낭만파 작곡가의 한 사람으로 음악은 Wagner의 영향을 받았다. "Des Knaben Wunderhorn"은 민요시집에서 가사를 따서 1880년에서 1900년 사이에 작곡되었다. Mahler의 원숙한 경지를 나타내 주며, 섬세한 화성법과 함께 자연스런 곡의 흐름을 갖는다. Samuel Barber(1910~1981)는 20세기 미국 작곡가 중에서 많은 청중의 사랑을 받고 있는 사람이며, 형식은 전통적인 요소를 고수하고, 리듬은 자유로운 형태를 취한다. "Knoxville : Summer of 1915"는 1947년에 작곡되어진 성악과 오케스트라를 위한 곡이다. 이 곡은 그의 성악 작품 중에서도 대작이며 우수한 작품이다. Ce′cile Chaminade(1857~1944)는 정열적인 프랑스 여성 작곡가이다. 그의 가곡은 프랑스 시의 아름다움을 신선하게 표현하였으며, 선율이나 반주면에서도 예쁘고 여성스러움이 나타난다. 이 두 가곡은 간단하고 매력적인 곡이다. 이상에서 필자는 각 시대의 작곡가와 작품에 대한 연구로 필자가 연주한 6개 작품에 대한 이해에 큰 도움을 얻고 하였다.;This study is of examination with detail in to the program content of the graduation concert for the completion of the master course. Characteristics of the composers' vocal music their musical backgrounds were observed. Georg Friedrick Ha＂ndel (1685-1759) is a composer who left great contributions to the development of the 18th century music as a representative of baroque composers. His solo cantata No.43 "Nan Sospirar" is a piece for soprano and is one of the secular cantatas which had been developed from the 17th century It is accompanied by basso continuo, and the form is aria-recit-ative-aria. The form of recitative is the secco recitative which the Neapolitan school chiefly used. Walfgang Amadeus Mozart(1756-1791) is one of the represen-tative composers who established the classical school mode. His cantata K.619 may be included in the category of Deutsch cantata from the point of view that the words were formed in German language and with a content of lyric verse based on the Bible. It is a piece for soprano and piano composed in 1791. It was formed by a series of consecutive sections. Melodies other than recitative are arioso rather than aria in style. Felix Mendelssohn(1809-1847) is one of the classical romantic composers. concert arias. Among his many works, he left only two" Infelice" which is one of the two was composed in 1834, and is a solo accompanied by an ochestra. Through variations in tempo and variety in harmony, it becomes a typical model of concert aria. The melody is very lyrical and very beautiful. Gustav Mahler(1860-1911) is one of the later romanticists. His music was influenced by Wagner. "Des Knaben Wunderhorn" is a work which borrowed its words from folk song anthology, "Des Knaben Wunderhorn", and was composed between 1880 and 1990. It represents his maturity and has a natural stream together with its delicate law of harmony. Samuel Barber (1910-1981) was a 20th century American composer who has been beloved by many an audience. His form holds fast to traditional elements, and the rhythm takes free forms."Knoxville: Summer of 1915" is a piece for voice and orchestra, composed in 1947. This is great and superior even among his vocal music pieces. Cecile Chaminade(1857-1944) was a passionate French female Her songs express the beauty of French poetry composer. freshly. Also, in melody or accompaniment, her pretty, feminine touch is seen. The two songs are short and charming.
