S. V. Rakhmaninov의 가곡 [Ne poy, krasavitsa], [Uzh ti, niva moya], [Oni otvechali], [Zdes' khoro sho]에 관한 소고

Abstract

세기 전환기의 러시아를 대표하는 작곡가중 한 사람인 Sergey Vasil'yevich Rakhmaninov는 후기 낭만주의 작곡가로 분류되어질 수 있다. 그의 음악은 전통적인 낭만주의적 양식과 어법에 기초하여, 현대적인 어법을 시도하던 동 시대의 작곡가들과는 다르게 구분된다. 그러나 낭만주의에 근거한 조성체계, 화성진행, 풍부하고 서정적인 선율, 러시아 특유의 애수어린 감정과 색채의 조화는 오늘날에도 많은 이들에게 애호받을수 있는 요소가 되기에 충분하다. 본 논문은 연구자의 졸업연주 program의 한 부분인 Rakhmaninov의 가곡을 중심으로 분석한 것이다. Rakhmaninov자신이 피아니스트이며, 많은 피아노곡들이 널리 연주되기에 그의 주요 작품들이 피아노곡에 국한되어있다고 생각될수도 있다. 그러나 성악곡에 쏟은 그의 열의 또한 남다른 것이었고, 그 대표작들은 오늘날까지 빛을 발하고 있다. 80여곡이 넘는 가곡과 독특한 개성을 지니는 그의 합창곡들은 그의 음악세계에서 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있으며, 러시아 성악음악의 한 시대를 대변한다고도 할 수 있겠다. 이러한 Rakhmaninov의 성악곡 가운데서도 가곡은 중요하게 다루어진다. Glinka, Mussorgsky, Tchaikovsky의 뒤를 이어 러시아 가곡을 대표하는 위치에 있는 그의 가곡들은 시와 인성과 피아노의 어울림이 최상의 표현을 만들어 냄을 보여준다. 본 논문의 분석 대상인 「Ne poy, krasavitsa」, 「Uzh, ti¨, niva, moya」, 「Oni otvechali」,「Zdes' khorosho」는 각각 Op. 4와 Op. 21에 속한 곡들이다. 이 곡들은 위에서도 언급했듯이 가곡에 있어서 가장 중요한 요소인 시의 선택, 인성과 피아노성부의 조화가 얼마나 뛰어난지 보여주는 곡들이다. 낭만주의적인 양식을 곡 전체에 걸쳐 다양하게 사용하고 있으며, 이 같은 음악위에 시의 내용이 충분히 반영되고 있다. 시어의 독특함과 낭만적이고 민족적인 음악의 조화가 유감없이 보여진다. 본 연구자는 이 4개의 가곡을 형식, 조성, 화성, 선율, 리듬, 가사의 사용 등의 분석하여 그의 음악에 흐르는 전반적인 음악적 양식을 연구해 보았다.;Sergey Vasil' yevich Rakhmaninov, one of the representative musicians in Russia from the end of the 19th century, is regarded as a Post-Romantic composer. In this respect his music departs from other contemporary modernistic works. Rakhmaninov excercised an enormous fascination over listeners for his romantic idom: tonality, harmonic progression, lyrical melody, Russian color, and so on. Because Rakhmaninov was a celebrated pianist and his piano pieces comprise the major part of his repertory. He is known as a piano music composer. However a quite different historical significance must be assigned to his 83 songs and choral compositions. After Glinka, Mussorgsky and Tchaikovsky, Russian songs were developed by Rakhmaninov. The perfect setting of poetic texts for voice and accompaniment 'makes the best presentation, and in this respect Rakhmaninov excelled. This thesis analyzes 「Ne poy, krasavitsa」, 「Uzh ti¨, niva moya」, 「Oni Otvechali」, 「Zdes' khorosho」 , belonged to Op. 4 and Op. 21. These songs are perfect examples of this art form, and the romantic methods used are varied. In addition, the texts perfectly reflect a characteristic harmony of lyrical romantic character and Russian color. This study is the result of the musical analysis of the four songs, as to style, tonality, harmony, melody and rhythm.
