A NOTE ON R-SEQUENCES AND ASYMPTOTIC SEQUENCES

Abstract

Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring with identity. An asymptotic sequence is more general than an R-sequence. In this thesis, we review the certain results which hold on asymptotic sequences do not hold on R-sequences, and construct an asymptotic sequence which is not an R-sequence.;R을 identity를 가진 Commutative Noetherian ring이라고 하자. 이 논문에서 우리는 다음을 보인다. Asymptotic sequences에서 성립하는 성질이 R-sequence에서는 성립하지 않는 경우가 있음을 보인다. 그리고 Asymptotic Sequence가 R-sequence가 아님을 보인다.
