Some Properties of Permutation Polynomials over Finite Fields

Abstract

q개의 원소를 가진 유한체 위에서의 n차 다항식 f(x)의 서로다른 다항식 값의 계수를 v라 하자. 다항식 f(x)값들의 기본대칭함수가 0이되지 않는 최소의 차수를 u라 하자. 그리고 다항식 f(x)값들의 멱급이 0이 되지 않는 최소의 차수를 w라 하자. 이 논문에서는 u, w의 성질과 u, v, w, n, q 양들 간의 관계를 연구하였다. 그리고 차수가 3보다 작거나 같은 모든 다항식 f(x)와 차수가 각각 4와 5인 다항식 f(x)에 관해서 f(x)+cx가 치환다항식이 되는 원소 c의 개수를 계산하였다.;Let v be the number of distinct values of a polynomial f(χ) of degree n over a finite field with q element. Let denote the degree of the first nonvanishing elementary symmetric function of the values of f(χ). Let w denote the degree of the first nonvanishing power sum of the values of f(χ). In this thesis, we study properties of u, w and the relations between the quantaties u, v, w, n, q. And we evaluate the number of elements c such that f(χ)+cχ is a permutation polynomial for n≤3 and for some f(χ) with n=4and5.
