J·Dowland, W·A·Mozart, J·Brahms, F·Poulenc, A·Berg의 聲樂曲에 對한 硏究

Abstract

Music has naturally come into being/since the appearance of mankind and reached today experiencing many changes. Among musical genre, song has been developing continuously. In this thesis, I have studied the characteristics and structure revealed in the vocal music from the Pre-Baroque period to the early twentieth century which forms the list of songs for my graduation recital. In England of Elizabeth I which belongs to the Pre-Baroque period, culture and art flourished. Lute music prevailed and secular music developed. Accordingly, J. Dowland also concentrated on the composition of secular music reflecting the spirit of the age. The characteristics of the songs of the Elizabethan Age can be seen in the songs with lute accompaniment. These are songs with lute accompaniment. These are songs with no time signature, irregular verse rhythm, alternating meters, narrow range, and the theme of love. (중간페이지누락 p.60) 1908, during the period when he was studying under Schoenberg, is still in the tradition of Romantic Germany and was influenced by the period from Schumann to early Schoenberg. The important fact is that the composers composed these vocal musics depending on period, style, and subjective compository technique and commonly took into consideration the concurrence of the nuance of poetry and music. Accordingly, the vocalist has to deal with the songs fully understanding and absorbing this fact. In the body of this thesis, I looked for the direction for effective rendition of vocal music through the study of characteristics and structure of the vocal music of each period.;본 논문은 연구자의 졸업연주곡인 Baroque 시대부터 20세기 초까지의 성악곡에 나타난 특징과 구조를 살펴봄으로써, 연주에 도움이 되고자 한다. 초기 Baroque시대 J.Dowland의 가곡들은 당시의 세속 성악곡들과의 관계속에서 그 특징을 살펴보고, 고전시대 W.A.Mozart의 오페라는 곡의 작곡배경·내용 및 구조를 파악, 귀족 중심 사회의 오페라의 발전 방향을 알아보며, 고전형식을 탈피한 낭만주의 J.Brahms의 가곡들은 화성구조·형식을 통한 인간 내면의 묘사에 중점을 두어 연구해 본다. 그리고 시대가 변화함에 따라 생활양식·가치관이 복잡한 양상을 보이고, 음악 또한 이에 따라 F·Poulenc, A·Berg의 성악곡을 통해서는 20세기 복잡한 제구조의 영향으로 음악이 어떤 방향을 갖게 되는지에 대해 살펴본다. 여기에서 중요한 사실은 시대와 양식을 초월하여 음의 색깔에 따라 시의 뉘앙스와 음을 일치시키려는 작업을 계속하였다는 공통점의 발견이다. 따라서 성악가들은 이점을 완전히 이해·흡수하여 곡을 다루어야 할 것이다. 그러므로 이 본문에서 시대별 성악곡의 특성과 구조를 파악하므로 효과적인 연주의 방향을 모색하고자 한다.
