Some properties of Dickson polynomials of the second kind over a finite field

Abstract

Let f_(k)(χ) be a Dickson polynomial of the second kind. We describe when f_(k)(χ) is a permutation polynomial over a finite field F_(q). We then obtain a necessary and sufficent condition that f_(k)(χ) is a permutation polynomial over F_(2) and F_(2^(2)).;f_(k)(x)를 제 2 딕슨(Dickson) 다항식이라 하자. 이 논문에서 언제 f_(k)(x)가 유한체 F_(q)위에서 치환 다항식(permutation polynomial)이 되는지 공부한다. 그리고 f_(k)(x)가 F_(2)와 F_(2^(2))위에서 치환다항식 (permutation polynomial)이 되기 위한 필요하고도 충분한 조건을 찾는다.
