진바지의 치수적합성에 관한 연구

Abstract

This study suggests the problems of sizing system and grading rule in Jeans-Brend and enhances satisfaction of size by suggesting basic data in developing Sizing System of Jeans suitable for body shape. The subjects in this study were 400 female college students of 18 to 26 year-old who were tried 29 direct measurements of body. Data were analyzed by various statistical methods. (correlation analysis, factor analysis, and frequency distribution) The research procedure was as follows; 1. Compare with size charts and grading rules of 4 Jeans-Brends. 2. Understand the figure of lower body in terms of body mesurement. 3. Choose the size of high coverage from frequency distribution Chart for main size. 4. Compare with size charts developing by 4 key dimensions. 5. Suggest the grading rule of Jeans. The result of the research was as follows; 1. Each Jeans-Brend prdouced 4-5 sizes of high coverage and had different from one another in size code, garment sizes, and key dimensions etc. With all those problems, comsumers have difficulties in finding suitable Jeans for their body sham. 2. Length measurements of the lower body had a tendency to increase and Girth measurements thined down. 3. A frequency distribution of 400 female college students was plotted according to the 3 key dimensions of stature, waist girth, and hip girth with size intervals of 5cm, 3cm, and 2cm. 4. 4 Size Charts was developed by blending 3 key dimensions. Each Size Chart was compared with one another. 5. The grading rule was devloped by calculating the increasing or decreasing amount as well as the grading points according to the ratio of the measured body parts.;본 연구는 진바지 생산업체의 치수체계에 대한 문제점을 제시하고 신체적합성이 우수한 국산 진바지에 대한 Sizing System의 개발에 기초자료를 제공함으로서 소비자의 치수에 대한 만족도를 향상시키고자 시도되었다. 연구대상은 진바지의 주소비자층인 18∼26세의 여대생 400명으로 하반신 29항목에 대한 직접계측을 실시하였다. 연구내용은 첫째, 진바지 생산업체를 대상으로 조사한 사이즈 차트를 비교·분석하고, 둘째, 인체계측을 실시하고, 세째, 빈도분포표를 작성하여 빈도가 높은 치수를 선정하고, 네째, 기본부위의 조합을 4가지 방법으로 달리한 사이즈 차트의 장·단점을 비교·분석하고, 다섯째, 새로 작성된 사이즈 차트 중 하나를 이용하여 그레이딩 룰을 제시하고자 한다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 진바지 생산업체들은 주로 소비자의 빈도수가 집중된 4-5개의 치수만을 생산하였으며 허리둘레와 엉덩이둘레만을 고려하였을 뿐 바지길이는 일률적으로 길게 생산함으로서 소비자로 하여금 신장에 관계없이 허리둘레와 엉덩이둘레만을 고려하여 치수를 선택하도록 하였다. 또한 치수의 호칭 및 호칭별 제품사이즈가 업체마다 차이를 나타내므로 동일치수를 선택하더라도 신체에 맞는 정도가 달라 소비자에게 혼돈을 주고 있다. 2. 여대생의 하반신 특징은 과거에 비해 신장이 커지고 있는 추세이며 특히 하반신 길이가 현저히 길어지고 있다. 반면 허리둘레와 엉덩이둘레는 거의 변화가 없으나 다리부분이 가늘어지고 있는 추세이다. 3. 기본부위는 수직적 크기를 대표하는 키와 수평적 크기를 대표하는 허리둘레 및 엉덩이둘레의 조합을 통해 4가지로 분류하여 빈도분포표를 작성하였다. 각 빈도분포표마다 분포비율이 2.00% 이상인 치수를 Size Chart에 포함시켰다. 4. 4가지의 기본부위에 따른 사이즈 차트를 작성하였으며 분석결과 기본부위 설정에 따라 각 다른항목의 사이즈가 달라지는 점을 고려할때 업체의 특성 및 진바지의 스타일에 맞게 적절히 적용되는 것이 바람직하다. 5. 사이즈 차트를 이용해 그레이딩을 실시한 결과 키는 높이항목 및 둘레항목에까지 영향을 주는 반면 허리둘레 및 엉덩이둘레는 둘레항목에만 영향을 준다. 그러므로 그레이딩시 키가 증가하게 되면 높이항목 뿐 아니라 둘레항목의 사이즈 변화까지 고려해야 하는 반면 허리둘레 및 엉덩이둘레가 증가하게 되면 높이항목은 변화가 없고 둘레항목의 사이즈 변화만 고려하면 된다.
