LOCALLY PRIMARY RINGS AND TENSOR PRODUCTS OF ALGEBRAS

Abstract

In this thesis, we generalize the results in [1] - the tensor product of a finite number of zero dimensional algebras over a common subfield is a locally primary ring - to zero dimensional algebras over a Noetherian ring. Some simple examples show that this is the best one can hope for. The converse situation is also investigated.
