20세기 성악곡에 사용된 인성기법의 연구

Abstract

현대의 작곡가들은 기악과 함께 인성의 새로운 가능성과 기법개발에 관심을 나타내어 새로운 현대음악을 창조해내고 있다. 현대의 성악음악은 인성이 가지는 한계점과 제한성에도 불구하고 표현영역의 한계를 뛰어넘어 다른 시대보다 표현양상이 다양하고 복잡하여졌다. 인성의 새로운 주법개발에 따른 음역의 확대라든가, 가사에 음성학적 기호를 사용한다든가, 손이나 신체의 부위를 이용해서 소리를 내는 등 새로운 기법을 개발하여 전시대 음악에서는 사용하지 않던 새로운 음향을 추구하고 있으며 이런 실험적 작품들이 현대음악에 미친 영향은 매우 크다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 20세기 성악곡에 나타난 인성기법을 연구하고 이태리 출신의 작곡가 Luciano Berio(1925~ )의 성악곡 작품 “Sequenza Ⅲ”을 분석하여 특징적인 인성기법을 연구하고자 한다. “Sequenza Ⅲ”은 우연성의 도입과 특수기보된 악보가 사용되었다. 전체구조는 단악장이며 일정하게 정해진 가사와 중심음이 없고, 음의 높낮이는 물론 강약, 리듬 등도 연주자의 임의에 맡김으로써 종래의 제한성에서 벗어나고 있다. 또한 무대위에서 행위가 요구되어 시각적이고 공간적인 음악을 만들고 있으며 연주자에게 고도의 기술과 즉흥성 그리고 자유가 부여되었다. 특히 인성을 사용함에 있어 비정상적이고 파격적인 음운으로 분석한 어휘나 음성학적 기호를 가사로 사용했다든지 특수한 발성과 주법을 이용한 것은 새롭게 시도된 무대위에서의 움직임과 함께 이 작품의 중요한 특질이 되었다. 이러한 새로운 양식과 기법은 20세기 후반의 음악적인 음향효과의 가능성을 시사해 주었다.;Modern composers are interested if not only instrumental but the possibility and development of technique for voice so, they can creat new modern music. In spite of the critical point and the limitation, overcoming the limitation of the domain of expression, modern vocal music has the most diversified and complicate style of expression. They develop many new techniques, which are magnification of compassed by the development of new performance technique of voice, employment of phonetic signs on the text, that were not used before, and sounding by using hands or any parts of body, thus pursue the new sound that was not used in former times. And these experimental works have important influence on the modern music. Accordingly, in this paper, I deal with the vocal writing techniques in the 20th century vocal music. Analysing the works which treat voice, especially " SequenzaⅢ" by Italian composer, Luciano Berio ( 1925- ) , I intend to research distinct vocal writing techniques. There is an introduction of aleatory music and score which has the special notation if this work. The structure is one section and there are no fixed text and torte center. According to the performer's own will, dynamics, rhythm, as well as, the pitch of tone can be against the former limitation. They make the visual and spatial music by asking of the introduction of aleatory music and performance on stage. Also as for performers, they have the highly developed technique, improvisation, and liverty. Particularly, for using voice, such attempts as employment of vague words for tort, of special vocalization and performance technique, and voice's movement on stage would be important in the work. And thee new style and techniques suggest the possibility of sound effect in the late 20th century.
