dc.description.abstractApio dideoxynucleosides which belong to novel class nucleosides like 3TC were reported to show anti-HIV activity^(2,3,4) As a part of our ongoing program to search for new anti-HIV nucleosides which are less toxic and more active, Apio dideoxynucleosides with azido or amino substituents were synthesized from 1,3-dihydroxyacetone as a starting material utilizing an acid-catalyzed Michael reaction. These compounds did not exhibited anti-HIV activity. 2',3'-Didehydro-2',3'-dideoxynucleosides (d4T) have a potential anti-HIV activity. The iso-2',3'-didehydro-2',3'-dideoxynucleoside analogues in that double bond and furanose oxygen of d4T were exchanged each other were synthesized from α,β-unsaturated lactone as a starting material. Among these compounds, iso-d4T and iso-d4U exhibited weak anti-HSV activity.;Apio dideoxynucleosides는 3TC와 같은 새로운 류의 nucleosides에 속하는 물질로 항 HIV 작용이 있는 것으로 보고되어졌다. 이러한 이유로, 독성이 작고 활성이 있는 새로운 형태의 nucleosides를 개발하고자 하는 목적에서 Azido기와 Amino 기를 도입한 Apio dideoxynucleosides를 1,3-dihydroxyacetone을 출발 물질로 산 촉매하의 Michael reaction을 이용하여 원하는 물질을 합성할 수가 있었다. 이 물질들은 항 HIV 활성을 가지지 않는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 2',3'-Didehydro-2',3'-dideoxynucleosides는 (447) 강력한 항 HIV 작용을 가지는 것으로 알려져있다. 그래서 우리는 α,β-불포화 lactone을 출발물질로 furanose 산소와 이중결합의 위치가 서로 바뀐 iso-2',3'-Didehydro-2',3'-dideoxynucleosides를 합성하였다. 이중에서 두 물질 (iso-d4T 와 iso-d4U) 는 약한 항 HSV 작용을 갖는 것으로 나타났다.-
