The Formal Group of an Elliptic Curve

Abstract

Let K be a local field. Let E be an elliptic curve over K. In this thesis, we study that the knowledge of E(K) can be obtained from the formal group E and the knowledge of an ellliptic curve over a smaller (so simper) field.;이 論文에서 우선 formal group에 대한 주요 性質들을 자세하게 알아본다. 그리고 그 決課를 elliptic curve에 聯關된 formal group에 適用하여 具體的으로 살펴본다. 結論的으로, local field K에 대해서, E(K)는 formal group E와 finite field k위의 E에 의해 具體化 될 수 있음을 보인다.
