Anton Webern "Three Songs for High Voice and Piano" Op.25의 1,2악장 분석연구

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze Anton Webern's first and second movements in "Three Songs for High Voice and Piano, Op. 25 of 1935, with a special reference to the second Viennese school's musical charactenstics and vocal works. Op 25 is composed with the technique of twelve tone and used canon and contrapuntal technique mainly showed in his late musical style. In this study, this researcher analyzed the structure of form, set by twelve-tone melody, and segment.;Anton Webern의 음악양식은 그가 사용한 음악기법에 따라 크게 3기로 나눌 수 있다. 제1기(∼1908)는 후기 낭만주의의 영향을 받아 조성적 작품 op.1, op.2 등이 있으며, 제2기(1908∼24)는 무조음악, 제3기(1924∼43)는 12음기법 음악을 작곡하였는데 이와 같은 음악양식의 발달은 제2비엔나 악파의 Schoenberg와 Berg 역시 유사한 맥락을 갖는다. 1935년에 작곡된 op.25, Three Songs for High Voice and Piano는 Hildegard John의 시에 의한 12음기법 음악으로 음열이 작품에서 아주 자유스럽게 다뤄지고 있다. 음열이 한 형태가 한 연주자에 의해 시작되어 다른 연주자에게 이어지고 있으며 op,25에 사용된 음열은 3개의 동일류 trichord[014]를 구성함으로써 trichord에 의한 동기적 진행이 이 곡을 강하게 통일시켜 주고 있다. 즉, Webern은 음열 내에서 동기의 통일성을 이루려 하고 있으며 이러한 목적은 화성, 리듬, 분절의 구조 등에 적용되어 악장 간의 상호 연관적인 통일성을 보여주고 있다.
