J. S. Bach Cello Suite No.1 in G major와 C. Franck Sonata in A major에 관한 분석 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업 연주회에서 연주되었던 작품들중에서 J.S. Bach의 Cello Suite No.1 in G major, BWV 1007 와 C. Franck의 sonata in A major에 대한 것으로, 작품의 시대적, 음악적 배경과 작품분석을 통한 구조와 특징적인 기법에 대해 살펴 보았는데, 그 연구결과는 다음과 같다. J.S. Bach의 Cello Suite No.1 in G major는 Baroque Dance Suite양식의 작품으로 춤곡에 원형을 둔 곡들의 모음곡이다. 이 작품의 악장 배열은 Prelude - Allemande - counante - Sarabande - Menuett Ⅰ,Ⅱ - Gigue의 순서로 되어있다. 곡의 형식은 각곡 모두 2부분 형식으로 나뉘며 순차, 반복, 도약, 모방의 선율진행을 보인다. 또 많은 장식음이 나타나고 화성은 으뜸 3화음이 주를 이루며, 그 외에 감7, 감9화음과 passing tone, neighboring tone, pedal tone과 같은 비화성음들이 사용되었는데 이 모든 것은 Baroque Suite의 일반적인 특징이기도 하다. C. Franck Sonata in A major는 원래는 violin을 위한 곡이었나 근래에는 cello에 의한 연주도 자주 들을 수 있다. 본 논문에서 연구한 주제도 cello에 의한 연주에 대한 것이다. 이 작품은 낭만시대의 Sonata로서 규칙적인 4악장의 구성으로 되어있는데 전 악장에 걸쳐 3개의 순환동기를 사용함으로서 곡 전체에 통일성을 주도록 되어 있다는 점이 특징적이다. 화성적으로는 부가화음, 불협화음, 감7도 화음 등과 반음계의 사용으로 풍부한 색채적 효과를 추구하며, 선율은 서정적이면서 주제에 대한 대위법적 기법도 사용되었다. 이 작품은 소나타 형식이라는 고전적인 틀 안에서 낭만적인 선율과 화성으로 이루어진 작품이라 할 수 있다.;In this thesis, Cello Suite No.1 in G Major BWV 1007 of J.S. Bach and Sonata in A Major of C. Franck were analyzied. Bach's "Suite for Cello solo in G major" is based on the binary form and has it's movements consisted by Baroque dance music. And the movements are in follow ng order : Prelude - Allemande - Courant - Sarabande - Menuett Ⅰ,II - Gigue. Each of the movements are indepedant in it's character and melody line. The form of each movement employs G Major in order for the liberal usage of an open string. The nonharmonic tones such as passing tones, neighboring tones, pedal mints are frequently used. C. Franck's Sonata in A major is an agglomeratoin of various techniques. It is based on the Classic Sonata style and made up of four movements, and shows the very characterastic styles of the C. Franck's composition. The formula fair this outstanding romantic sonata are the usage of the cyclic form which jorms organic unity throughout the piece, it's mysteriously beautiful melody line and chromatic harmonies. This sonata is undoubtablely one of the best sona as in romantic era.
