F. Liszt의 순례의 연보 2권 중 <Apre´s une le｀cture de Dante>에 관한 소고

Abstract

본 논문은 필자의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업 연주회의 작품중 Franz Liszt(1811∼1886)의 <Anne'es de Pe'erinage 2 annee : Italy>의 7번째 곡인 <Apre's une lecture de Dante>에 대하여 연구 분석한 것이다. 리스트는 19세기 낭만주의 시대에 탁월한 연주력을 갖은 작곡가로서 그의 피아노음악은 표제음악 성격과 피아노의 다양한 기법이 서로 조화되어 리스트만의 특징적인 음악경향을 나타낸다. 그의 기교적인 특징은 8도와 10도의 연속적인 진행, trill의 잦은 사용, 아르페지오와 반음계적 진행을 나타내는 것등이며 그의 화성적인 특징은 증·감화음과 7도 화음의 사용, 반음계의 사용으로 풍부하고 강렬한 관현악적 음색과 음향을 만들어 내는 것이다. 또한 다른 관현악곡이나 오페라의 아리아를 피아노곡으로 편곡하여 그의 재창조의 능력을 보여 주었다. <Apre's une lecture de Dante>는 그가 이태리 여행중 거장들의 여러 예술작품을 보고 느낀 영감을 음악으로 표현한 <Anne'es de Pe'lerinage 2 annee : Italy>의 7번째 곡으로 빅토르 위고의 시의 제목을 붙인 것이다. 이 작품은 그가 위에서 언급한 피아노 기법을 통하여 지옥과 친국과 연옥의 모습을 대조적으로 표현한 표제음악이다. Fantasia quasi Sonata 라는 표현에서 보여주듯 이 곡의 형식은 소나타라는 형식의 틀 안에서 자유로운 환상곡의 성격이 조화를 이루는 리스트의 피아노 곡이다.;This thesis is an analysis of Franz Liszt's (Apres une le｀cture de Dante), which was performed in a graduation recital as one of the requirement for this writer's Master's degree. In the romantic period of the nineteenth century, Liszt was a superb perfomer as well as a composer. The harmonization of programmatic ideas with various piano technique is the Cheracteristic of his piano music. The technical features are continuous progression through 8th and 10th intervals, frequent use of the trill, arpeggio and chromatic progressions. The harmonic features are the abundant intensive augmented or diminished haarmony, full harmony based on use of the 7th inrerval, orchesrtal tone-color and splendid sound. His piano arrangements of orchestral music or opera arias show us his own power of re-creation. <Apre´s une Le｀cture de Dante> was inspired by works of the great masters on his, Italian trip, the 7th of which was named after <Apre´s une Le｀cture de Dante>, the title of Victor Hugo's poem. This program music expresses heaven, hell, and purgatory with keen comparison through the abovementioned piano techniques. The word "Fantasia quasi Sonata" brings us to understand the balance between liberal fantasy and formal Sonata. This is a representative piano work of Liszt.
