아동이 지각한 어머니의 양육방식 및 부모갈등과 아동의 심리적 적응과의 관계

Abstract

기존 연구들에서 증명되어온 아동이 지각한 어머니의 양육방식과 아동의 심리적 적응간의 관계를 넘어서, 아직은 관련 연구들이 부족한 아동이 지각한 부모갈등과 아동의 심리적 적응과의 관계를 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서 양육방식을 가정에서 아동의 발달에 가장 직접적으로 큰 영향을 미치며, 아동의 양육과 교육에 많은 역할을 담당하는 어머니의 양육방식으로 제한하여 살펴보았다. 아동이 지각한 어머니의 양육방식과 함께 아동의 심리적 안녕감을 위협하는 주요 스트레스원인 아동이 지각한 부모갈등의 하위유형들- 부모갈등 강도, 빈도, 해결정도, 내용, 자기비난, 지각된 위협, 대처효율성, 삼각관계-의 아동의 심리적 적응에 대한 설명력에 관해서도 살펴보았다. 양육방식과 부모갈등을 다룬 기존의 연구들이 우울, 불안, 공격성 등 부정적인 변인에 관심이 있었던 것과는 달리, 아동의 심리적 적응을 측정하기 위한 변인으로 자아탄력성과 유능감을 사용하였다. 또한 아동이 지각한 어머니의 양육방식 및 부모갈등과 심리적 적응간의 관계에 있어 남녀 차를 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 서울지역의 초등학교에서 남녀 학생 198명의 자료를 수집하여, 각 측정 변수 간의 관련성을 살펴보았고, 아동이 지각한 어머니의 양육방식과 부모갈등이 어느 정도 자아탄력성과 유능감을 설명하는지를 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 살펴보았다.;This study investigated the relationships among the mother's parenting styles perceived, parental conflict perceived by child, and ego-resiliency, competence of the children. Participants were about 200 elementary students in third, fourth, fifth grade, the elementary school is located in seoul. They completed the Children's Report of Parental Behavior Inventory(CRPBI), Children's Perception of Interparental Conflict Scales(CPIC), Ego-Resilience Scale, The Perceived Competence Scale For Children. The data were analyzed with Pearson's correlation, multiple regression by the SPSS 14.0 program. The Results of the study are as follows: First, mother's parenting styles perceived by child were related significantly to ego-resilience and competence. Second, interparental conflict perceived by child was related significantly to lower ego-resilience and competence. Third, elementary students’ positive perceptions of their mother's parenting styles were related significantly to lower perception of parental conflict. Finally, specific styles of parenting and interparental conflict perceived by child were related significantly to the levels of ego-resilience and competence. the aspect of female was different from male.
