Richard Strauss의 Violine Sonate Es-dur op.18에 관한 연구

Abstract

리하르트 슈트라우스는 독일 후기 낭만주의의 대표적인 작곡가로 본 논문은 그의 초기 대표작인 『바이올린 소나타 내림 마장조 작품 18』을 분석함으로써 후기 낭만주의와 신고전주의의 과도적 성향과 특징을 알아보고자 한다. 이 작품은 리하르트 슈트라우스의 유일한 바이올린 소나타이며, 마지막 신고전주의의 음악이자 실내악 작품이다. 본 작품에서 나타나는 신고전주의적인 경향은 첫째, 전통적인 3악장 구조를 꼽을 수 있다. 둘째, 브람스가 제 1주제의 주요 동기를 변형하여 제 2주제로 사용하는 방식보다 더 발전시켜 슈트라우스는 제 1주제의 동기를 확대, 변형하여 2, 3개의 동기를 형성하는 기법을 사용하였다. 또한 후기 낭만주의의 특징을 보여주는 것은 곡의 전체를 통해 계속해서 나타나는 반음계적 전조와 반음계 진행, 당김음의 사용 등이 대표적이라고 할 수 있다. 본 논문의 연구를 통해 과도기적 시기의 슈트라우스의 음악적 특징과 경향을 알아봄으로써 음악을 통한 작곡가의 생각을 파악할 수 있을 것이다.;Early masterpiece "Sonate für Violine und Klavier Es-dur op.18", written by Richard Strauss as known chiefly for the representative composer in the late Romantic, is analyzed, and also the transitional propensities and characteristics of late Romantic and Neo-classic are studied in this thesis. This only Strauss' violin sonata was the last of his classically designed works and his last piece of chamber music that Strauss wrote. Neither Neo-Classic nor chamber music was composed after this work. In this sonata, the tendency of Neo-Classic is well revealed to the structure of three-movements. In addition, Strauss used his technique of integrating and modifying the motive of first theme to compose 2 or 3 motives, while Johannes Brahms modified the main motive of the first theme in order to use it as a second theme. Also, the characteristics of late Romantic are mainly expressed through all music with the proceeding of chromatic modulation and scale, and of use of syncopation. In this thesis, we will be able to understand composer's thoughts through the study of Strauss's musical chacteristics and tendencies in the transitional period.
