윤수정의 "String quartet No.2"(1995) 제1, 3악장 분석

Abstract

본 논문은 본인의 석사학위 이수를 위한 졸업연주회 작품중 하나인 3악장으로 구성된 "String Quartet No.2"(1995)의 제1악장과 제3악장을 분석 한 것이다. 제1악장은 ABCA'의 4 section으로 구성되어 있으며 section A와 section C는 subsection을 포함한다. 제1악장에서는 증4도 음정인 B, F가 중심음으로 사용되었으며 증4도. 음정과 더불어 단2도 음정이 선율진행을 주도한다. 또한 각 section마다 다양한 연주법에 의한 음색변화를 추구하였다. 제3악장은 제1악장과는 달리 subsection을 포함하지 않는 ABCA'의 4 section으로 구성되어 있으며 특정한 중심음은 두지 않았다. 각 section마다 동기가 반복 또는 확대된 형태로 발전하며 동기요소가 부분적으로 사용되었다. Section A와 B의 동기는 tutti와 solo의 대비로 구성되었고 section C에서는 잦은 변박과 함께 3개의 음으로 구성된 동기가 반복, 변형되며 발전한다. Section A'는 각 성부마다 주어진 음을 반복하는 선율로 구성되어 있다.;This thesis is an analysis of the first and third movements of "String Quartet No.2( 1995)" which was composed for the graduation concert for the completion of the author's degree. The first movement is composed in four sections of ABCA', and section A and section C have their own subsections. In the first movement, an augmented fourth interval B, F was used as a tone center, the minor second interval and augmented fourth interval together leading the melodic progression. In each sections, the change of tone color was tried by various performing techinques, such as harmonics, pizzicato and so on. Unlike the first movement, there is no subsection in the third movement, and a special tone center was not used, either. In each section, a motive develops as it repeats or expands with some motive components being used partially. The motives of section A and section B are composed of the contrast between tutti and sols. At section C, the motive, which is composed of three notes, is repeated, transformed and developed with a frequent change of meter. Section A' is composed of melodies repeating given tones at each part.
