"절로"의 미의식에 관한 시각적 표현 연구

Abstract

우리의 지정학적 조건, 역사, 문화 유산물을 통해 살펴보는 한국인의 미의식은 흐르는 선의 미, 낮은 단조의 감각, 둥글고 곡선적인 형태, 결이 있는 감각, 허와 실의 미, 여백의 미등, 여러가지로 말하여진다. 이러한 모든 양상을 함께 묶어 볼때 가장 가까운 개념은 "한국적 자연주의"라고 말할 수 있겠다. 절로 그러하듯이 있는, 꾸미지 않은 자연스러움, 탈기교의 미는 한국적 자연주의를 그대로 반영하고 있다. 자연스러움을 선호하는 한국인의 자연주의 사상은 진정한 의미의 인본주의라고 할 수 있을 것이다. 합리적 이성주의라는 이름으로 인간을 구속시키는 서양의 인본주의 사상은 사실상 인간이 배제된 논리이다. 나도 너도 아닌, 합리에 동의한 모두가 소외되고 있는 것이다. 일찌기 장자는 "모든 것을, 그것이 자연스럽게 하는대로 허용해 주면 그 본성이 충족될 것이다" 라고 말하여 무위자연 사상을 표방하고 있다. 모든 것은 절로 이루어진다는 것으로 만물은 우주의 일정한 순환법칙에 의하여 운행되고 있으며 더우기 자연적으로 운행되고 있다고 하였다. 또 선가에서는 우주와 결합되어 하나의 추상 이치를 깨달으면 자연히 대가가 된다고하였다. 석도화론에서는 "회화란 자아에서 형성되는 마음의 감정을 붓으로 연주하는 것"이라고 말하여 사물의 실체에 얽매이지 않고 표현하는 동양화의 화론을 정립하였다. 자연을 사랑하고 자연과의 합일을 이상으로 하는 한국민의 민족적 특성과 동양의 자연주의 사상이 결합하여 인위적 기교를 가하지 않은 "절로 그러한 " 자연성 을 추구하게되었다. 한반도의 독특한 기후와 풍토에서 오랜 세월 형성되어온 한국적 자연미 "절로"의 재발견은 20세기 후반 포스트 모더니즘 사회를 살아가는 우리에게 주체적 조형세계를 열어가는 한 방향을 제시해줄 것으로 생각된다. 본 논문의 구성은 다음과 같다. Ⅰ.장은 서론 부분으로 본 연구가 갖는 목적과 연구의 범위 및 방법을 서술하였고, Ⅱ.장에서는 "절로"의 미의식이 갖는 사상적 토대를 제시하였다. 한국인에게 영향을 미친 동양의 자연주의 사상을 소개하고 한국인의 내면에 흐르는 미의식을 미학으로 승화시킬 수 있는 사상적 기반을 찾아보고자 하였다. 그리고, 한국인 가운데 자리하고 있는 "절로"의 의식을 살펴봄으로써 서양 일변도의 조형적 사고에서 탈피한 주체적 조형의식으로의 가능성을 살피고자 하였다. Ⅲ. 장에서는 본 연구자 나름대로 "절로"의 개념을 가지고 작업한 포스트 일러스트레이션을 소개하고 분석하였다. Ⅳ. 장은 절로의 미의식이 갖는 독립적인 조형의식으로의 가능성에 대한 탐구의 결론 부분이다.;The sense of Korean beauty is flowing line beauty, low monotonouse sense, round curved shape, texture sense, the beauty of reality & empty and the beauty of space, etc. through Korean history and cultural inheritance, geopolitics. This concept can be ca11ed "Korean Naturalism" This reflects simple nature and Korean naturalism. This Korean natural concept is real humanism Western humanism of reasonable rationalism is the principle without human thought. In this concept, there is no I , You and We. Chuang-tzu said "Everything is satisfied with its nature, if it could be allowed naturally," claiming the idle life of naturalism. It means everything becomes complete naturally ;everything works naturally by the circuitous rule in the universe. If we realize the abstract reason of the universe in the Zen sect, we become a great master. Painting is to play the emotion formed self-ego with the brush, it contributes to the doctrine of oriental painting which expresses beyond the reality of objects. This natural nature comes from the characteristics of The Korean who loves nature and the combination of oriented naturalism. This re-discovery of the natural beauty of Korea can suggest to us one way to open a subjective modeling art world in this late 20th century's post modernism society. This thesis is as follows: Chapter Ⅰ: Introduction The statement of purpose, scope and method of this study. Chapter Ⅱ: The ideal suggestion of the sense of natural beauty. The introduction of oriental naturalism which affects the Korean, and the possibility of subjective modeling sense without western modeling concept by looking at the natural sense. Chapter Ⅲ: The Introduction and analysis of poster-illustration based on the concept of natural beauty. Chapter Ⅳ: The conclusion of the natural beauty & possibility of independent modeling sense.
