Camille Saint-saéns 의 "Sonata for Oboe and Piano Op.166"에 관한 연구분석

Abstract

본 논문에서는 19세기 낭만 시기의 프랑스 작곡가, 생상(Camille Saint-Saéns,1835-1921)의 유일한 오보에 작품 Sonata for Oboe and Piano op.166 (1921)을 연구, 분석하였다. 먼저 문헌 연구를 통한 생상의 음악세계와 그 시대적 배경 밑 작품성향을 알아보았다. 악곡 분석에 있어서는 각 악장의 형식을 도표화하였으며 그 시대의 선율이나 화성, 작곡 기법 등을 분석하여 이를 분석된 음악적 구성요소들을 통해 낭만적이지만 신고전주의적인 성향을 띤 생상만의 특성을 고찰하고자 한다. 본 논문의 내용은 각각의 작품 분석연구를 통하여 생상의 음악이 기법적인 면에서는 고전적인 경향에 기반을 두고 있음을, 그리고 음악적 내용에서는 다분히 낭만적이었음을 증명하고 있다. 1악장의 전형적인 소나타 형식(sonata form)을 포함한 간결하지만 특이한 조성관계, 자유로운 2부 형식을 갖춘 2악장, 두 개의 선율을 계속하여 변주해 나가는 론도형식의 3악장을 주제의 전개 및 형식 구조, 조성 관계와 음악 어법적 특징 등을 자세히 분석하여 이 곡에서 보여주는 생상의 신고전주의적 어법과 표현에 대해 자세히 연구해 보았다.;The purpose of this study was to analyze the 19th-century French romantist composer Camille Saint-Saéns' (1835-1921) sole oboe work or 'Sonata for Oboe and Piano op.166' (1921). For this purpose, the researcher reviewed relevant literature about his world of music, its historical background and the tendency of his works. In order to analyze his musical piece, the format of its each movement was arranged into a table, while melodies, harmonies and composing techniques of his time were analyzed, and thereupon, the musical components analyzed were referred to for analysis of Saint-Saéns' unique romantic but neo-classical tendency. As a result of this study, it was confirmed that Saint-Saéns' music was classical in terms of techniques but much romantic in terms of contents. Particularly, this study was focused on development of the theme, formal structure, neo-classical musical grammars and expressions in order to analyze his simple but unique tonality shown in the sonata form of the first movement, the free form of the second movement and the varying two melodies of the Rondo form of the third movement.
