자연의 유기적 질서의 특성과 가구디자인에의 적용에 관한 연구

Abstract

Even though recently a human being lives in the speedily changing environment governmentally, economically, socially, culturaly, and informatively, and pursues improvement and convenience of his life through the power of science and technique, he emotionally wants to fulfill his yearing mind of tile past and the nature. Nature, including human beings, has the structure and feature of the natural organic system. Also, it should be balanced with tile natural regularity organically and circularly. However, serious environmental problems have become influential on the ecosystem of the Earth, so people have tried to save nature from them, and at the same time to express nature in many different kinds of ways in order to know and feel something from it. Nature is absolutely the origin of life and art, and it is really important that human beings should find the regularity and the law of nature from the consistent harmony and changes through the arranged system and rules. Also it is important for mankind to see the point of the direct or indirect experience in the given environment. In addition, the effect of western civilization has brought to Korea a lot of changes in lifestyle. However, the disproportional factors have come from the rational and ideal development so it is necessary for people to find and solve the original problems. Particularly, furniture, one of the elements of interior atmosphere, should be suitable for culture in society and especially for the human dimension. On anticipating the future lifestyle, it is essential to change the basic concept and the form of furniture. In order that the information from the natural organic characteristics and the systematic discovery is applied by a research worker, first of all, he should research the organic feature and the order from nature, and should settle the viewpoint of observation and analysis too. Secondly, the environment should include the natural trait and people's satisfied psychological aspiration. Finally, it is very important to pursue the specific personality, and to create the design of the furniture with satisfaction being of the structure of the life and the human dimension. 1. The relationship between humans and nature, the point of view on nature, and for the early step in design, the expression of the nature which could be easily inattentive sometimes. 2. The natural organics are controlled by themselves to be adapted to the environment through the organic characteristics such as mathematically, proportionally, self-similarity, and the timeliness and movement of nature, so they are able to have the scientific and rational structure and the form in works. 3. Based on the natural organic system, analize the nature structurally, configurationally, functionally, and beautifully. Through these characteristics, to consider the way of ideas intuitionally and rationally, and to form the mutual organic relationship for the process of the design. 4. Through studies on the theme of nature, to help to understand the application of the organic system. Among the ways of feeling the nature, to analyze and classify the texture and tile pattern of materials, structural and formal characteristics and symbolized expression methods. 5. Based on the above data, especially the organic system of gingko leaves is going to be a theme, and will be collected, observed and analized. To keep in mind the organic system in sketching the idea for organating the image. The final device is being shown as an actual object. The natural environment including human beings has the relationship with the organic structure and system mutually and relatively. Moreover, people's vision of this relationship should be versatile and general on the whole.;인간은 급속하게 변화하는 정치, 경제, 사회, 문화적 여러 현상들과 수없이 쏟아지는 정보의 홍수속에서 그리고 과학과 기술의 힘을 이용하여 생활의 향상과 편리를 추구하는 가운데 정서적으로는 더욱 과거와 자연을 그리워하는 심리적 욕구를 충족시키고자 한다. 인간을 포함한 자연은 유기적 질서에 따른 구조와 형태를 가지며, 자연의 유기적이고 순환적인 질서에 따라 평형의 상태를 이루어야 한다. 그러나 현재 지구 생태계는 불균형으로 인한 많은 환경문제가 대두되어 어긋나고 있는 자연의 질서를 회복시키고자 노력하는 가운데 인간은 자연을 접하고 느끼고자 여러방법과 대상을 통해 표현하여 왔다. 자연은 인간의 삶과 예술의 근원이며 인간은 자연의 끊임없는 변화와 조화, 그리고 다양한 형태속에서 정돈된 질서와 법칙을 발견할 수 있으며, 그 가운데 주어진 환경속에서의 영향과 함께 자연을 직접, 간접적으로 경험하게 되는 체험과 그것을 보는 관점이 중요하다. 또한 서구의 영향으로 우리나라의 생활양식에 많은 변화를 가져왔는데, 합리적이고 이상적인 발전적 모습속에 보이지 않는 여러 불균형의 요소들이 아직 내재하고 있으며, 근본적인 문제의 발견과 해결이 필요하다고 하겠다. 실내환경의 구성요소인 가구는 우리의 생활문화와 특히 인체공학적 측면에서 우리의 신체구조에 적합해야 하며, 미래의 생활양식을 예측해 볼 때 가구에 대한 근본적인 개념의 변화와 그에 따른 가구의 형태가 요구된다. 연구자는 자연의 유기적 특성과 질서의 발견에서 얻은 정보로부터 가구디자인에 적용하는데 있어서 첫째, 자연으로부터 유기적 특성과 질서를 발견하고, 그 대상을 관찰하고 분석하는 관점의 태도를 정립하고, 둘째, 자연과의 유기적 관계속에서 자연성을 표현하여 인간의 심리적 욕구를 만족시키는 환경의 창출과 셋째, 개인의 독특한 개성을 추구하면서 우리의 생활구조와 인체에 적합한 가구디자인을 창출하는데 그 목적을 두고 다음과 같은 방법과 과정으로 연구를 진행하였다. 1. 자연과 인간의 관계, 자연에 대한 인간의 관점을 정립하고, 디자인의 초기 단계인 자료에 대한 수집과 분석의 과정에 있어서 자연성을 표현하고자 할 때 자연의 유기적 질서에 대한 다각도에서의 관찰이 매우 중요함에도 불구하고 소홀히 이루어지는 것을 지적하며 관찰의 방법을 알아본다. 2. 자연의 유기적 특성을 수학적, 비례적, 자기유사성, 그리고 자연의 시간성과 운동의 측면에서 알아봄으로써 자연의 유기체들은 환경에 적응하기 위하여 스스로 조절되고 각각의 규칙과 질서를 가지며 과학적이고 합리적인 형태와 구조를 가진다는 것을 알 수 있다. 3. 자연의 유기적 질서를 근원으로 디자인에 적용하기 위하여 자연의 유기적 특성을 구조적, 형태적, 기능적, 미적인 분야로 나누어서 분석한다. 이 네 가지 특성들을 통하여 각각의 자연물들이 전체와 부분, 환경과의 관계속에서 유기적으로 구성되어 있음을 알 수 있으며, 자연의 유기적 질서를 분석하고 추출하여 디자인하는 과정에서 상호보완적인 유기적 관계를 형성하도록 한다. 4. 자연성을 주제로 한 가구의 사례연구를 통하여 유기적 특성의 적용에 대한 이해를 돕는다. 자연을 느낄 수 있는 여러 방법중에서 질감과 패턴 그리고 재료를 통한 소재적인 측면에서 표현한 사례, 자연물의 형태와 구조의 특성을 중심으로 재현한 사례, 자연의 유기적 특성을 상징적으로 표현한 사례들로 유형을 분류하고 다양한 표현방법에 대하여 분석하고 정리한다. 5. 지금까지의 과정과 자료를 바탕으로 자연중에서 은행잎의 유기적 질서를 디자인의 주제로 하여 수집, 관찰, 분석의 단계를 밟는다. 이미지 창출을 위하여 아이디어 스케치를 하는데 있어서 유기적 질서를 잊지 않도록 하며, 하나의 시스템적으로 디자인하여 제시한다. 최종안은 실물제작하여 표현한다. 인간을 포함한 자연환경은 유기적 구조와 질서속에서 상호보안적이고 상대적인 관계를 가지며, 이러한 자연의 유기적 관계를 보는 인간의 시각이 다각적이고 총체적이어야 한다.
