Dmitri Shostakovich Sonata op.40과 Ce｀sar Franck for Cello sonata in A Major 분석 연구

Abstract

연구자는 본 논문에서 졸업연구회에서 연주하였던 작품들 중에서 D. Shostakovich Cello Sonata Op.40과 Ce、sar Franck Sonata in A Major를 분석하고자 한다. 분석하기에 앞서 작곡가와 작품의 구조를 살폈다. D. Shostakovich Cello Sonata op.40은 Shostakovich의 단 하나뿐인 cello sonata로서 모두 4악장이며, 1악장은 sonata form, 2악장은 ABA' Coda인 세 부분 형식, 3악장은 AB coda인 두부분형식, 4악장은 ABA'C A", DA"' cada인 rondo form이다. Ce、sar Franck Sonata in A Major는 원래 violin을 위한 곡이지만 viola, cello, flute이 연주하기도 한다. 프랑스 대표적 작곡가 C. Frank는 낭만시대의 사람이지만 J.S. Bach, L.v. Beethoven 등의 영향을 받아 대위법적인 작곡기법에 의한 고전주의적 구조 안에 종교적인 요소를 융합시켰다. 모두 4악장으로 1악장은 발전부가 생략된 sonata form, 2악장은 전형적인 sonata form, 3악장은 자유로운 형식의 recitutivo fantasia로 ABC 세부분으로 나뉘고, 4악장은 ABA'B'A"C A"'B"A"" coda인 rondo form이다. 그의 대표적 작곡기법인 cyclic form(순환기법)을 사용하여 곡 전체에 통일성을 준다.;Dmitri Shostakovich Cello Sonata Op.40 and Ce｀sar Franck Sonata in A Major are two of the pieces played at my graduation recital for completetion of the masters program, in this dissertation, I will examine and analyze them thoroughly as possible. Dmitri Shostakovich Cello Sonata Op.40 is made up of four movements. In terms of a structure, the first movement follows a sonata form. The second movement is in the style of waltz, and it follows a structure of ternary form. This movement is characterized by pizzicato, glissando, harmonics. The third movement is a binary form and the last movement is a rondo form with a structure of ABA'CA"DA'''DA''' and coda. Ce｀sar Franck, a romantist lived in the latter half of the 19th century was a composer who pursued new method of french music through the use of freer structure. His fundamental ideas on music are established in the classical style, but full of modernism in freer use of harmony and structure. Ce｀sar Franck Sonata in A Major is made up of four movements. This piece possesses a romantic, yet contains elements such as the dischord, diminished chord, and chromatic progression in the characteristics of his music. Especially the most peculiar element among the forms of proceeding his musical piece is cyclic form. The themes are common to each part of the piece, thereby giving the piece of sense of uniformity.
